Hi. did you have to oil the machine when you put it together? How much oil do you need to put in it? The instructions are confusing

Put very light pencil mark on wall every cpl feet then gives u a guide when doing white on white. Very light and space then all out evenly so u know where they are

Thanks so much for this video, seeing your video has given us a bit of confidence in doing it ourselves especially having seeing a lot of videos on here of experts, so it's nice a normal person like us can do it to. We just bought our lovely home down south of England and looking to have a decorator come in and give us quotes. After 7 different ridiculous quotes of £5k, £6 and one £12k just to paint a 4 bedroom house...we really just have up and are now looking to do it ourselves during this lock dowm period! Does anyone recommend a wagner or Graco Airless sprayer ?

For a smooth finish backroll the walls while paint u sprayed is still wet.

Why did u dilute your paint with hot water? Thinning paint makes coverage weaker?

I would suggest that you clear the room of all the furniture and fittings before you mask. I would also suggest that you have a roller handy for when you get a run rather than using toilet paper on a broom stick to wipe it off. Priming the gun should be done with paint and not water. Water should be used to flush and clean the gun afterwards.

For this little space, I won't use a sprayer. It takes time to mask off everything and wash the machine in the end.

Omg mate I had to write this. NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER aim the airless into a jar like that with your hand beside it. If you squirt that paint at your hand you can get what’s called an INJECTION INJURY. This is serious and will result in you getting LIMBS AMPUTATED I am not joking there is no other way to fix this imagine paint circulating in your blood stream. <- Read your manual NEVER EVER EVER EVER PUT AN AIRLESS LIKE THAT NEAR YOUR HAND especially with it spun round to clear on the tip as the pressure it down to a tiny point. This is why these products shouldn’t be sold to DIY. Think of a bucket of clear water what happens when you put a drop of paint in. Now imagine that’s your blood they literally have to cut limbs off when it happens there’s no other way to fix it.

Also where your going sideways your also lapping the joins so you’ll get a shiny spot where you lap. Which is why every wall has to be sprayed to suit. If you spray vertically on those wall sections you wouldn’t have any shinny spots or heavy laps like your getting. Not that painters spray walls you spray sealer cutting in etc rarely do I spray walls as there’s not any time saved by the time you tape up. Your also taping up wet on wet or paint that’s only barely dried so you’ll end up peeling it even with low tac tapes. So there’s really no time saving in spraying walls only time I spray walls is exterior weatherboards, wardrobes as it’s not mission critical and lots of corners. As far as household internal walls never spray them. Even new homes I wouldn’t bother spraying wall sections only the cut in. Also a pest to touch up if you’ve sprayed the walls. And your moving wayyyy to slow for that 517 be runs everywhere. 30 litres of low sheen maybe 35 does a whole 4 bed house pretty much two coats. So gives you an idea how much material your using that be 4 litres maybe 5 for that area is what it should be.

On good walls you want something more like a 512 or even 510. That .17 is thumping a whole lot of extra material out and giving you a poor finish. Exterior on weatherboards etc or render then you use a .15 or a .17 etc. perfect walls you want that number smaller like 311 411 511 etc.

Thanks for the comprehensive information. I used this and one of the Wagner ones to use my 350 CP M for the first time, and it pretty much went without a hitch as I knew what to expect and how to respond. Painted the whole house - external walls and soffits two coats today and it looks awesome :)

Do you find to be your mistake to apply to much paint at once? Second layer should be applied next day or?

You need to wait to dry. I had the same problem :D Or else it will fall just down the wall. Also the pain bullets, you need to go to the primer mode, it's because it starts to be clogged. If you can stretch with a roller the finishing is really good

Hi, I've just bought this machine and yet to use it. Tell me as i'm confused, surely having the thicker exterior paint would be better on setting 5 as it has the most pressure to push the thicker paint out? cheers

When trying to cover a darker color with white it's better to use a primer first.

lol. once you learn how to use the 250 it will be fine. Don't go back over what you have just sprayed again and again, the machine throws out a lot of paint and it will run. 515 tip is good for thinned acrylics, 517 and 519 will throw out a lot of paint if moving the gun too slowly. Love the gung ho attitude though.
