The band was originally formed in 2004 in Chiang Mai, where Jeep (lead vocal, band leader), Ray (guitar, vocal), John (bass guitar) and Boy (drum) lived. In the early years, they played various Thai popular songs in many bars and restaurant. After 7 years of working in the familiar city, the members of the band decided to gain their experiences in the new horizon.
From the North to the South, the Baby Funk moved from Chiang Mai to Koh Samui in late 2011. There, they started working at 'Coyote' and 'Shamrock' and playing more different styles of music, such as pop, rock, blues, funk, and also dance music.
In 2012, when John had to move back to Chiang Mai, the Baby Funk found a new Bassist - Kit. Unfortunately, he played for the band only for a few months before leaving the Island on March 2013. The band tried to recruit for the new bassist, but it was not easy to find the right one. To solve the problem, Jeep decided to learn playing bass and has become a bassist herself since April
