Most helpful items: -Diapers & Sensitive fragrance free huggies Wipes. (Pampers sensitive wipes brand has given lots of babys a rash) -Car camera to watch baby -First Aid kits/Grooming kit -baby saline spray&nose syringe. (The frida one sucks IMO. (Use the sizzors to cut babies nails it's way safer) -clothes -wearable blankets for safe sleeping -Bibs -Baby Tub (easy to clean & dry) -Receiving blankets (they are just thin blankets you can use for covering the baby, burping or cleaning anything up) -Car seat/stroller combo -Bouncer /swing combo -Bottles&pacifiers&Bottle cleaning tools -Teething pacifiers that you can put Frozen stuff. The plastic ones with little holes are the best. The mesh ones are harder to clean.) -Sensitive detergent -2 on the go diaper changing mat one for home one for the diaper bag. -Diaper rash creams & pee pads for when you need to air put a diaper rash. -Thick playmat Things you can possibly do without: -Diaper Genie (you can just use grocery bags or dog poop bags to tie the diapers up and throw the diapers in a regular trash) -Burp clothes (the recieving blankets cover that) -A diaper changing table. Your bed and the couch will work just fine with that portable diaper changing mat. -Play pen they're so small. The floor mats are better. -Bottle soap. Dawn works just as fine and we already use it. Random advice: Don't be afraid to ask for help with cleaning once baby arrives. Stock up on house essentials and food items so when babys comes you dont have to worry about it. Get rid of your expectations and just embrace the process one step at a time. The doctor said, "The baby will eat every 3-4 hours". I was so relieved that ment I could nap, but when she began crying every hour I didn't know what was wrong. Apparently, my baby was just different and she needed to eat every hour. It was hard, but we adapted and then suddenly her feeding changed and it got easier. ❤ Everything's gonna be okay. Everything is a phase. Enjoy the good and just remember the difficult is only temporary. God bless you and your family. ❤
