MMA and Boxing require lots of versatility and over time they get used to doing and watching out for certain things because that’s what they train there mind and body to do. So immediately going into a different sport and trying to learn something off the bat or trying to restrain from doing what you were taught throughout your whole career is extremely hard in the case for both sports

People often forget there is more to boxing 🥊 than just punching and dodging punches it’s has many different skills that often take years to hone and a vast variety of styles boxers use (modern martial artist breaks it down better ) . Same goes for MMA it requires a lot of multitasking due to the variety of skills each opponent brings to the table that’s why most MMA strikers only stick to the fundamentals of Boxing 🥊 most of the time.
