We're working on framing up the exterior walls inside the shop.. then we'll take a short break to build 3 trusses before coming back to framing.

We're officially dried in! Garage doors are up and wall framing is underway!

we have finally finished the steel for the entire building! next up on our pole barn construction is to finally get it fully dried in by putting up the garage doors! then we will start building the interior temporary living space.

We're getting closer to fully dried in. In this video, we finished the side steel, soffits, fascia, and corners. The next step is to finish the roof!

In this video we get most of the metal done on the exterior walls. we have a little more to do over the garage. I had to order a few more sheets of metal because we made a couple errors along the way so that was part of the reason we stopped where we did.

we're making progress on the steel walls. hopefully we'll have it closed in soon!

We started the walls of the shop. First we had to put the rat guard up. Then we started the siding. We use a laser level to set the rat guard height consistently all the way around.

Framed up the windows and walk through door. We installed them and then put some boards on the corners so we're ready for the metal!

Our well got drilled! Then we finished up the last few girts and perlings.

In this video, we continue working on the framing and bracing. This is the next day after the pad was poured. My dad has some old steel braces that we were able to use. They are from a house he built back in the 90s and we're finally getting to put them to good use. Made some huge progress! I hired some guys to pour my concrete pad for the shop. It's just too big for me to do myself and these guys were great!
