Short walk around on my 01 Yukon xl before our Utah trip. For those asking about budget most of the solar stuff was surplus items. I honestly have more money in gas/wire from welding then I do the rest of it. Lights are all commonly available Nilight brand which are pretty reasonably priced. Don’t ask me about fuel economy- it has a 8.1 gas engine, but i will say the fuel improved with the larg...

    hi ive searched for this backpack and ive seen different versions of it. ive seen a 41L and a 38.6L. is there any difference of dimensions or volume of the backpacks in the video?

    • @greasemonkey4god
      @greasemonkey4god 5 месяцев назад

      Visually there is no size difference. They appear to be the same size. Mystery Ranch also has a new Popup 40 that’s quite interesting. Of course it doesn’t have the same weight carrying capacity as the guidelite MT but if 75lbs is good enough then that might be an option. Feel free to check out my other backpack videos! I have a new one featuring Exo Mountain Gear packs coming soon!

      @@yyyoniii3245 the only reason I went from Mystery Ranch to Exo is because when I was carrying over 60lbs the Mystery Ranch had trouble staying on my waist. Always sliding down. Exo seems much better. I know alot of people that love the Mystery Ranch and I think it’s a dang good pack. And the Pintler by far has the best organization. Coming from someone who has nearly every one of the hunting lineup of packs.

      Ya I dunno. And as mentioned in the video this was a $20 trekking pole. I usually use my Kelty poles and this was the first time I’ve had an issue… but it might be worth the money and weight penalty to purchase something designed for the tent!

    I would rather install an access hatch in the back or front of the trailer. To slide the kayaks in and out of there. Just buy a cable lock. And lock the kayaks outside underneath at night. Then you don't have high weight on your vehicle. For safety. And much better gas mileage. Or switch to paddle boards because you may be able to get those into the trailer without any modifications at all.

    • @greasemonkey4god
      @greasemonkey4god Год назад

      I like that… there’s a side access already but not big enough to fit kayaks. Unfortunately the back of our camper is a slide out so that’s not an option either! Plus it’s 4 kayaks… and usually bikes too. The kids are spoiled.
