Unless my parents threw it out, I should have that exact magazine somewhere, I recognise the cover. Funny how absolutely pointless things like that are locked into the old neurons 40 years later :) Back in the day I always wanted a pair of nice BMX trousers - Haro or GT. I think now I could afford them I'd look a bit silly (if they still make them). You do know I'm now going straight to ebay... :)

Met paul at a national ,grimsby i think maybe 82 or3 ,so enthusiastic couldn't get a word in ,we was in jason browns dads converted ambulance coming from wigan still remember dylan clayton coming into bluebell woods were we would ride and build tracks on a shitty 40 pound bike blue with yellow mags and boosting,we were like what the fuck haha happy days 😂

When i was 8 or 9 years old, i used to follow him around at the Dayton Indoor track. My Dad told me to leave him alone. He told my dad i was all good and he liked helping the kids. If im not mistaken, he was only 18 or 20. Nevermind DK or GT, i wanted to ride for Schwinn. Dude was a local hero. Matt, if you read this, thanks for the memories. I hope you still treat people the way you did back then. It made a difference. You probably dont remember me but ill never forget you, big homie.

A a Box stays w/stiletto forks bike. and a one of a kind FACTORY GT speed series pro frame blue/white with No gold on the frame...GT#1❤
