Nice one. Had same problem after a gearbox swap. Sorted in 2 minutes 👍
Můj problém 1999 srad špatné studené starty 🤔❤😊😊
Great video did you have a noise in steering wheel when turning before fixing. I have the exact same leak wondering if it need a rack to
isn't there an aluminium oring seal that doesn't have these type of problems?
Yo mate does the Chevy Cruze 2.0 Vcdi 150 hp has the same issue with this seal or is it other design
Hi mate. Good video. Can I ask what the brakes were like after changing them? And those brackets you made, would they work for fitting any 4 pot caliper with a 65mm bolt pattern to a gixxer? I'm looking at the brembo 4 pots and the bolt pattern looks the same. Just wondering if youd fancy making anymore as I'd fancy a set. Thanks. James.
Great info vid but could have done with detail on how to get to the bolt on the power steering rack. I’ve stripped the car, got to that point, now I’m stuck. 😤
I am thinking of doing this job now that winter is coming on my german vauxhall. If i get a new seal, should i buy an OE part or an Elring seal? Will they be more immune to diesel than the original from the factory? Cheers!
Mines been doing the oil pressure warning for about 4 years now . I just keep oil changing every 3 months and put supercharger anti knock shit in . Fingers crossed it cant last til im done paying the damn thing off....xD
Same here. I add stop leak seal treatment and the warning goes away 😅
@supernick2072 yeah mine tends to do about 5-10 seconds warning in the morning and then even less after work . Just keep the oil changes going so it's not having a chance to thin.
@magicbeans6153 What is interesting is that it occurred in the summer. Like you say cold start engine warning for a few seconds. Added a few cans of the treatment stuff. Warning has not come back. So I now wonder if the sensor failed ! I have a mot and oil change on the 22nd so I will see what occurs after that
Great video, i think im having this problem
Screws are tapered and usually for wood and don't have a nut. Bolts are equal diameter for the whole length and usually have a nut.
I have an Astra j 2.0 cdti. Non leak on hoses... And a v2 sound at thé accélération and shutdown.I will have a look on this part. Super thanks😉🇫🇷💪
Thank you so much, had the same problem, and now its like another car! 22€ and 15 minutes and its done. Thank you, Thank you....
what model of intercooler is it? Link please !!!
and how is the connections back from the feul lines ? from tank to ???????
Clean for an 09
Fantastic Video. I have been looking for this for weeks. How long would it take to replace the seal and clean the filter?
Impressive!!
Ugh ... I've heard about this and seen a 2L sri going for £500.. I think I'll leave it xD .. It's on 138K so I would be looking at doing that and the timing belt, apparently clutch and flywheel done but DPF is blocked another job.
Good morning how many hours does it take to replace the oil pump rings
Hi and thank you for now ☺️ From the moment the car starts, the wastegate goes to the bottom and stays that way. The solenoid valve constantly gives vacuum. What is the reason for this?
Thank for the video ....no boost was doing my head in for a while and used my obd scanner to help pin point this valve ....took a run down motorway .....no boost or code present...but ERASED fault code and immediately got BOOST.!! ...result Many thanks 👍
Lol... Up withens👍👍👍
Is this no boost at all? Mine just doesnt have any boost when engine is cold. Once the temp gets up a little, the gear shift notification kicks in and the car goes. Its like i have a limiter on the engine when the engines cold to protect it. My mates merc is the same apparently. I have a 14 plate insignia. Nice cars but they are very sensistive.
Do you think this is the same on the facelift model? I need to get to the temperature sensor
Great video and information. Solved the issue on my car where there were no codes at all but kept giving service message warning. Changed the solenoid above the vacuum chamber housing and the pipes and now running very well. Thank you for posting. 👍👍
What’s that handlebar setup? Are those different forks?
My Astra 2.0 CDTI has From time to time also no boost pressure and the message that I should drive to the workshop. Errors are boost pressure too low and too high and various other messages. I suspect the MAP sensor But aI haven't thought of negative pressure hoses yet. The vehicle has run 240000 km. And suddenly I also have more pressure with the exhaust gases from the exhaust. The only strange thing is that I don't always have the problem with the boost pressure, if I turn the car off and on again, the problem is solved. At some point it comes back, but not regularly.
No job goes without an ouch lmao
sounded a little better open deeper
Great video, what year insignia did these get fit till,I have a 2016 insignia wound these still be fitted to my year,or did they stop, change this on later models
there is no hole for vacuum on the right carb i thought the same thing too
I have a 2015 insignia 2.0 cdti I need to re- check I’m pretty sure I don’t have those notches in the gearbox to access the 2 sump bolts, maybe I’m wrong. My car has 50k running fine but came across these videos when checking how to change alternator wheel.
At 1:54 ... "there's no waste gate" ... now the world makes sense again. Thanks OP.
Haynes say 2.2 litres, [Re my 2013 A18XER petrol..Google searches suggest 1.6 litres only!!!..I've heard DO NOT overfill, so CAUTION..Great idea to remove filler BEFORE draining
Thanks for this video. Mine is going in for a safety recall for this exact issue. Vauxhall are recalling all this make & model and replacing the rear toe links regardless if they are corroded or not.
What year is your,I have a 2016 wander if these are fitted to my year,or stopped fitting these on later models
I haven’t got a recall mines not affected apparently,it’s been in twice,mines a 2016 insignia
I have problem with my Astra J 2.0 CDTI 160km, turbo works, no fault codes, but car doesn't have full power.
Did you solve the problem?
@@GamingSimen no
i've watched the gs 500 series. It was informative and helpful, thanks : )
part nr?
Hi the pipes you have joined up is it the 1 originally from the vacuum pump and the other from the back of that sensor that ain't working with the pipe from turbo solenoid to the vacuum pump thanks
Safety Recall: Insignia Rear Toe Link Since the recall that I received a letter about last week, I think your video is very useful to any of us that try to investigate further before handing over to the Vauxhall garages. I agree, you certainly have / had a crack in the nearside toe link which any garage should replace both rather than one on it's own. One thing that the recall doesn't mention, is the NEED to have the camber correctly adjusted as they do the refit, as well as having new bolts too. I'm going to try to take a look at mine as they do it, although, I don't know how successful that will be considering todays H&S rules! Many thanks again.
Side notes the sump isn't held in with Torx bolts. They have pointier points. The proper tool is RIBE bolts. Not expensive for a set but make the job easier.
Is there just one camber bolt for each side
Is it legal? Also you don't potentially get exhaust gases into the cabin being in the front?
No wow
Genius tail design!
what was the error code please
I’d like to say thank you for this video based off this I have now sorted my car and saved 100s on a turbo
Vauxhall have recalled all insignia to refit stronger camber arms. DVLA supplied them with keepers address. I had both updated free last Tuesday ( May 2024 ) even though I repaired the faulty ones 6 months ago as they had sheered. Thank God I was not speeding but unfortunately this repair did not allow for tyre camber adjustment so inner part of both tyres very worn and need replacing. Perhaps this is why the car steering wheel is vibrating at 80mph ??? Not enough protection underneath on early vauxhall.
Hey man, how did this project turn out ? Did it work alright
Thank you for this detailed explanation. I had the same problem and solved it easily🙂 Thanks again and keep up the great work 🙂
