This great song song was written by Blaze Foley. I recorded this take live on my iphone and then did a few overdubs for fun. I found an alternate melody by singing a harmony on Blaze Foley's melody. This cover by Supertramp was a challenge. Literally, my cousin challenged me to do it. It was tricky because drawing the line between making it my my own and paying proper tribute to the original required a lot of thought . What a song! I have been fascinated with it since I was 14 years old.
