DRS isn't the problem, they actually help. The big problem is the car size, they're just too big.

@@twrampage i don’t think DRS helps. the trains are not due to car size or maneuverability, they are because of the DRS. it allows cars that are not fast enough to be staying with the car in front to do just that, in turn holding up all the cars behind that would, without DRS, be fast enough to overtake both the first car in the train and the second.

@@willhowe6420 DRS allows the oversized behemoths to actually pass each other. Dropping it without reducing the car size notably would worsen things.

It‘s NOT like real f1 mate. Every race there are two giants DRS trains. P1-P8 and P9-P20. The two lead cars of every group will constantly overtake and reovertake each other every single lap. No one can pull away and no one falls behind out of DRS distance which means the race starts with two DRS trains and ends with the same two DRS trains. Show me one race since the introduction of DRS that went like this 😂. Game is so boring because of that i only have 15 hours and I bought it at release

@xILoveFishyx2 things. Firstly he’s using his mirrors and adjusting his line to accommodate a car to overtake. Secondly neither car kept control while bombing the corners.

He’s driving wide because he’s nearly at the limit for that corner and he can see the car behind him is going 10 miles over. He knows someone’s gonna hit him. That’s why he doesn’t take the best line

I’ll help provide some insight into my thoughts during this moment. Red Bull livery car made quite the send into the corner. So much so that he almost missed the corner entirely. The yellow car was an innocent bystander. He probably could’ve been safer but saw an opportunity. Can’t blame him there. I was so focused on having to adjust to the other car that I didn’t even see the yellow one.

Everything about this is sooooo good! Definitely the new standard for wet racing in games.

I use to do that. The problem I kept running into is that I would focus too much on the line rather than actual breaking points around the track. Towards the end of the stream I started to get better. Felt kinda good about my understanding of the track.

I7 13700K and a 4070. The 4070 is still a beast and runs super well. Probably better off going with the super since it’s not much more.

They are. Before I pit I was perfectly fine. After pitting, it’s like the car just said nah I’m good. It’s a known thing with that game. AI restarts are very hit or miss on super speedways.
