You never know where your next best customer comes from. I recently had a show where I met a woman who contacted me after purchasing a good amount of t at that show and then buying twice more with also a good amount of product purchased.

I've been doing shows for 11 years now. Election years are always crap for shows, but this year I was on par (or near that) compared to last year thus far *knock on wood*. The only exception was 4th of July this past summer. I more than doubled my sales from last year, which was actually fabulous for me. I make hairbows, generally a "luxury" item so clearing $300-$400 a show in election years is really surprising. Most of my shows are $20- $40 a space (within a 30 minute drive due to disability), I've never paid more than $60 for 2 spaces, which is where I'm at this year inventory wise. I have price points anywhere from $1 to $15, so there's options for everyone.

Just found your channel. I sew and crochet. Had surgery last year so sewing is on the back burner for now but just about to do my 1st craft fair in December and I love the idea of the journals. Would you mind giving some insight into how you source them? Do you design them and have a printer make them or do you order them wholesale? Just wondering as I am sooo new to all of this and I am hoping to make a go of a small business with my crafts but would love to incorporate something like journals or planners into my business also. Oh my gosh the sewing things with liners inside out alwayssss makes me second guess myself. I have to stop and look at the project a million times to wrap my head around how it will possibly look like an actual bag or whatever it is at the end. Sewing is definitely a “trust the process” deal. 😂

Yes, thank you for sharing! I'm actually impressed that it only cost $50 for a booth. I've seen so many where it seems like the people running the event/renting out the spots are the only ones making money. 😳🤷‍♀️

I have had shows like this one. I find that most school market's people don't want to pay the prices that we deserve to receive. So for those shows I tend to put out lower priced items. I also find that other bigger shows people are ready to spend money. Like I do one for the "Chamber of Commerce" and it is amazing for everyone. It is a matter of figuring out which shows are better for your items you are selling. Praying that you other shows do much better. Big hugs...I think you need some.

The first market I ever did will probably be my last as well it was the worst experience I only sold 3 bags and it was only because of that experience that I decided I’d never do it again ❤️‍🩹

I can't tell you the number of times I've pulled over during my drive to a show and double checked things that I knew I had but just couldn't bring myself to trust it. LOL Glad I'm not the only one that worries they've forgotten something. :)

Unfortunately it’s hard when fabrics are sourced from chain stores. I just found your channel. I also sew the same products as you and have been for years. I noticed five of the same prints that I use on your products because they come from Michael’s, Joann or Hobby Lobby. It’s sucks because the more unique prints are expensive. I definitely don’t agree with the exact copying of your video or description though. But when we all shop at the same fabric stores the copying of fabrics won’t change.

I have a print on demand store in spread shirt but i cant achieve any selles can you explain to as more about Etsy ❤ plz
