A little hike I did on the weekend with my girl Bonnie. Getting to know my surroundings around Coquitlam. 9km one way. Steep incline. 4.5 hours return.
Pattullo Bridge, New Westminster Under Construction
Просмотров 84Месяц назад
We enjoyed an evening bike ride by the new Pattullo Bridge, with the drone in tow. The urge to pilot it near the crane for a closer look was too compelling to resist. Additionally, I managed to capture the skytrain zooming along the tracks and a tug boat performing its usual tasks.
Coquitlam Lake View Point Hike - June 2024

What better way to spend a rainy day than on a hike? This was my first visit to the Coquitlam Lake viewpoint, and I made a few stops along the way, including a visit to the Woodland Falls. The hike was moderately easy, winding through a wet and dense forest that felt spooky at times, yet enjoyable nonetheless.

Spring Skiing - Blackcomb 2024

As the curtain falls on another thrilling ski season, we reflect on a day of pure bliss. The sun danced in the sky, casting a radiant glow over the slopes, while the snow below beckoned with its pristine allure. Though the snowfall arrived fashionably late this season, its arrival only heightened the excitement - after all, anticipation is half the fun, isn't it? In this video, you'll see the p...

Embracing the opportunities of an El Niño-influenced ski season has proven to be an exhilarating challenge. Despite the formidable conditions-ranging from closed Alpine slopes and sparse snow on the lower half to lift closures prompted by strong winds-there's an undeniable thrill in making the most of it. Nevertheless, the essence of fun persists, waiting to be discovered amidst the unique tria...

I often quip, 'I'd lose my head if it weren't attached,' and today was a prime example. I left my GoPro at home, but fortunately, I had my trusty Insta360 with me. However, a mishap early on led to a change in settings, rendering most of my footage unusable. To make matters more challenging, Steve brought his GoPro, but the frigid weather caused it to repeatedly power off. Despite the hurdles, ...

Tun Tun, Bonnie, and I embarked on a Northshore expedition to conquer Mt. Harvey. While the summit eluded us, my drone soared to capture breathtaking footage of Mt. Harvey and the majestic Lions peak. Considering the treacherous conditions near the summit, coupled with the challenging snowfall and diminishing daylight, we wisely chose to descend before dusk. Despite the unattained peak, our jou...

Snow looked good - looking at a trip March 2024 and this has me hopeful.
Beautiful shots! Now subscribed.
Thanks for the sub!
Beautiful lake. Nice video and editing.
Final Destination 6
It looks like the skier could use some lessons to improve his technique?
WB lists P2C at 11 km in length. If you did it in 7 mins, you're average speed is 94 km/h. I don't think so. I've skiied P2C many, many times. There's no way it is 11 km. Maybe 6 or 7, but not 11.
Love Cabo! One of favorite destinations!
I have the same set up as your boat! can't wait to launch my boat for the first time. great video by the way, how much gas did you bring for the whole trip? should be 12 gallon?
Thanks. It's been a great little boat. I'm not sure about the size of the gas tank. I think you can see it in the video at the end. I should of brought an extra Jerry can because I almost ran out. Should be a nice weekend. I might take the boat out. Stay safe.
Thanks man! stay safe!
can you camp over night near the water??
Yes. There are lots of spots around the lake where you can camp. 🏕
@@digitalmemories Thanks man! your video is really helpful. Im a newbie about inflatable boat and was looking places I can go with this dinghy lol. do I need to make reservation for those camping spots?
great video! just wondering how did u manage to put down the boat on water in the beginning at the dock.. with motor and everything it shud be really heavy.
Thanks. Not easily. The boat has wheels, so I was able to roll it in the water from the shore. Once it was in the water, I loaded everything inside.
Wow!! Just beautiful 😍❤️
Thank you for booking our boat tours.
Excellent video. Especially the drone footage, the sunsets and the waves. You are very talented. Thanks for letting us see Cabo San Lucas through your eyes 😊.
Thank you 😊
did peak to creek 0n March 4 th 2024....was a relentless mogul field..brutal
Well done dude, your skiing was smooth as hell.
Thanks for at least giving us an idea of the top down to the bottom.
Mate, that was sick, well done!
That looks like it’s groomed, when I skied peak to creek it was bloody rough even with a lot of snow, this run is never groomed and locals know it as a very rough and uneven, alternatively it’s not bad halfway down and then follow highway 86.
i went there for 5 days in early March and never seen lower peak to creek being groomed. Mega disappointed and not sure what Vail is thinking. So many iconic top to bottom runs around the world (especially in the alps) and Vail really ought to make peak to creek an attraction by itself
Almost seems like a video game 😮. Awesome!
Only the bottom tier at the lakeside rec site is Rainbow Falls. Above Rainbow and below the FSR doesn't currently have a working name, the two drops above (the lower of which is visible from the bridge) is known as Slollicum Creek Falls.
Sorry, meant to say three above the road.
you skiing on the Mindbender Carbon or Ti? if its the carbon version, how did you like them on groomed trails/corderouy?
It's the Ti but they are still really good skis ⛷️
@@digitalmemoriesI have the previous years mindbender Ti, but was curious if the Carbon version is better for slopping around on moguls, trees, etc... Thanks!
Where you find snow like that?
It's up there if you ski off the main trails.
I know it's not a speed record, but I did it in six minutes in the early morning after they groomed it & thought it was pretty fast, then found a video that was sub 5 minutes. Bonkers! They should run the peak to valley race down P2C one year.
I go here once a year
Nicely cut video from our meager scraps!!
Harvey has the best view . Better then the lion and Brunswick
I think I would agree.
Great video. Glad you turned around when you did, live to summit another day! What a beauty.
Was it easier to climb up with all the snow? Or do you think it be better during summer time?
The fall colors were very nice. The snow made it a little slippery near the top. I would think that it should be easier in the summer but I've never done it.

7 minutes down... 45 minutes to get back up with the lift lines!
If not longer.
Thank you for showing me this beautiful place. :)
My pleasure 😊. It was really nice meeting you and exchanging ideas. Perhaps we can go hiking and soon.
@@digitalmemories yes. I am looking forward.
Hi ! I really enjoyed your video! Looks like you had ideal conditions. I am a photographer who moved to Chilliwack two years ago and I have not been up Mt Cheam yet. (need to rent a 4x4 and start exploring our amazing backyard) Thanks for the perspectives and views.
Thank you. I'm so glad you liked it and thanks for the feedback. I live in Vancouver and have been hiking the North Shore most lately, but I've purchased this vehicle recently with the hopes of going further into the mountains. Chilliwack is a very nice place for hiking, and there are so many more hikes I have on my "to do" list. Perhaps I will see you up there.
Where are the trees with lot of space located?
Well done. Enjoyed this video thoroughly. I know how it feels to miss a goal, but better to make the smart choice and "live to hike another day"!
Thank you very much. Perhaps I can try this hike again earlier in the season to have more daylight. Thanks for watching and feedback.
Another incredible journey with your amazing Formosan. A mountain dog after all! Though some parts did make me nervous :) I used to take long hikes a lot more with my Formosan Boo. She is 11 now slows down a lot. She can no longer do strenuous hikes. I cherished those mountain days with her, but our current daily neighborhood walks also. They grow old fast. Thank you for taking us with you vicariously. Time with our pups is precious.
Nice to know about other people taking their fmd on hikes. They are very capable dogs. I will be sad when she won't be able to do it anymore. She is 6 now so probably a few more good years. Glad you enjoyed my video.
Great video! We're heading up there this weekend for the first time.
Thanks. Hope you had fun.
U have a nice dog. I make some hiking videos on my channel. I live in Vancouver and looking to connect with some local vlogger who is into making videos while hiking. Let me know if you are interested in hiking together to shoot a video. We can shoot each other some footage for our own video.
Stay in touch. Maybe we can do a collaboration.

love the video, i just wanted to ask what type skies you are skiing in? would the skies be consider an All Mountain ski?
Thank you. My skis are K2 Mindbender 108 TI. Yes they are All terrain skis.
Very nice, I haven't been but the mountains are calling me!
Gorgeous hike, beautiful footage, great quality. Absolute joy to watch 😊 Watersprite still remains on my list 🙂
Thank you very much. It's well worth the drive if you have a 4x4. I was happy to finally take this one off my bucket list. Hope you will get to do it too.
*promosm* 🤗
I'm doing this hike tomorrow, July 28th. By the time you see this I might be back. How long did it take you this time?
Took about 3.5 hours up and 3 hours down. Enjoy
At 1:36, is that a dog or bear?
That is my Dog Bonnie. Lol
Nice footage..!
Thank you
How easy is it for beginneer cyclist to ride to mount seymour? Do I need an ebike for this ride?
It's pretty easy for anyone to do even without an ebike.
@@digitalmemories got it. Thanks for the info!
Well done. I lost my Mini2 in the ocean a few weeks back based on a controller malfunction (right stick totally died, nothing I could do to get it back) - 5th drone and first time I launched off a boat so could not use the return to home feature - go figure! Bought the Mini3 Pro the day I got home. I like how you take the time to capture simple more natural moments. I spend too much time trying to capture action…which is usually less than meets my expectations when I finally download the video. I’ve run a few test flights on the Mini 3 and very impressed so far.
I lost my Mavic Air in a river hence the reason I bought the Mini 3 Pro. I really like it so far.
Hi, what’s the hp on your outboard motor ?
9.9 4 stroke
Great video. Excellent camera work. Enjoyed it. Especially with your dog. I hike with my dog as well.
Thank you very much. Do you live in Vancouver?
Hello, what’s the size of your boat and the size of the outboard on it?
The boat is 10ft. And the motor is a 9.9hp 4 stoke engine.
Bummer Dan! I have really enjoyed many of the shots you took with that fine machine. Your waterfall shots were spectacular. May another drone fly into your life!
