This was brilliant performance by brilliant musicians including the orchestra.
I am also amazed at the brilliant orchestration, to get such a large orchestra to play so sympathetically to support the soloists is really a fantastic achievement.

What type of music is this? what chord progressions? Anyone
Instrumental R&B with a touch of jazz.
Not sure if you have the chords already: Dmin7/G for the first 4 measures then Gmin7 for the rest - for the verse EbMaj/G, Gmaj, EbMaj/G, Gmaj, Gmin7, Gmaj7 for the B section. The part after the solos goes to: Eb7#9, Bbmin7/Eb, B/Eb, Eb7#9
Simply the greatest musicians are the jazz cats.....,and Alex Han, Sean Jones, and Marcus on top of the list.
Anyone knows what type of alto sax and mouthpiece is he using? I want to say is a beechler diamond mouthpiece but I'm not certain.
Yeah. It’s a Yamaha 875 EXII and back then it was a Beechler custom made for Alex with a fairly small tip opening of slightly less than 5. His reeds were 2H I believe. He now plays a metal Beechler Custom with more tip. Likes his Francois Louis ligs but is experimenting with a Silverstein at times on the soprano. Yamaha needs to step it up and get Alex some new horns!!
