I went to see some Hoopoes in Spain a while back and had these video clips so put them together and it was an experience I will never forget! The beautiful Willow warbler visited the shrubs around my summer home and gave some beautiful displays over a 2 week period! This also gave me many photo opportunities and time to observe this tiny little creature.

A trip to Spain to see these wonderful birds in action! Natures clean up crew in all their glory! A bird that has been very illusive for me over the past few years especially as I have been spending a lot of time in the woods! I was lucky enough to finally get a beautiful male down and these are the clips!

Doing some work in the woodlands I was focused on the great spotted woodpecker and capturing some video and pics for you guys but I noticed a movement in the grass and thought it was a woodmouse but it was a bank vole and from then on I decided to make this wee short film! I hope you all enjoy! PS: The next video will be of the Great Spotted Woodpecker in a fortnight!

Video and Photos of a ringtail Hen Harrier I came across in Wicklow and Wexford. Our Hen Harriers are in big trouble here in Ireland and experts are predicting that they could go extinct within 25 years if more is not done to protect these beautiful raptors habitat. #SavetheSkydancer

Often overlooked the cock pheasant when you get close enough is a truly stunning bird to see! Even though a non native bird to Ireland it is a pleasure when one allows you to get this close to it.

Last year I managed to see the Goldfinches on the thistles and this year I had a small flock feeding on very young thistles and in February! Tucked away in the hide the birds were oblivious to my presence. I hope you all enjoy and if you haven't subscribed please hit that button! Cheers! Dave
