Questionable At Best - Long Train Running
What a great medley!
They are basically the same exact song
Saw them around 2004 in Athens and bought a CD off them, still one of my favorites.
Thank you for confirming my thoughts about cherry and ROCK
That they're all the same song?
@@BennSimonn Oui
so nice!!!so sweet! Gabriel's inferno book brought me here, but i think i've already hear it on spotify
Yeah Bob,
A voice wrapped in honey.
well done...
NICE JOB GUYS,,, GREAT HARMONIZING..
Nice.
Britney who?
I think the arrangement is very similar to the recording, due to the mix, acoustics and the recording equipment, the sound quality on here is GOOD considering the circumstances. I think the cam just picked up the drums better than some of the other instruments or could be where the person was sitting that took the video.
Love this song!
Thanks for watching!
Really enjoyed this! Thanks for posting, you guys rocked it!
I don't mind the drums so much, but I'm not a huge fan of the way the lead singer is dragging the vocal rhythm so much.
Yes indeed, the drums are bad -maybe a sound problem. Shame as its great otherwise and the album is a peach.
Sounds like a music box :)
Beautiful song
This is one of my favorite Hem songs... Love this so much!!
@YourFace I never really thought the audio or video quality on this recording did justice to the performance, but you're right -- it's tough to pull off a decent live recording with most handheld cameras (especially true when this was recorded almost 4 years ago). If I remember correctly, this was taken on a fairly cheap casio exilim digital camera. The sound mix in this small club was very good and I was sitting far enough away that the levels didn't clip too bad. Thanks for commenting.
She has an amazing voice
Classic!
First time I've ever seen the vocals nailed by a cover band. Nice work.
I love her change in pitch. She reminds me of Sarah McLaughlin.
This song always helps me produce an impressive bowel movement.
@timages it's being played constantly on Liberty Mutual commercials during the Olympics. Hopefully that will give it a bit more recognition, even though it won't be anything near Britney's recognition.
good point , timages
Thats how I first heard it too And now I'm in love with the band!!
Hem is an absolute joy to listen to. Their lead singer has that rare voice that sounds just as beautiful live as it does on recorded cds. Also Iove that they use violins in their music. Makes the music even more beautiful, especially in the song Idle (the rabbit song). More people should listen to this music instead of all the crap being put out today.
The last time HEM played in London, England, I met them at a radio station and asked them to play this song at their concert. To my surprise, they dedicated the song to me and Sally said that it was the one song they did not do that much live. I felt happy, humbled and very greatful. Thank you so much, HEM!
this is, as far as i am concerned, the most beautiful song i have ever heard. and i listen to a lot of music.
Love it. Good job David.
that music to my ears is like music to my ears.
Awesome!
the singer did a good job!!! while playing piano
the high voice was awfull
Sharp cover! Thanks guys
wtf?/? is this hit....this isnt Fantastic Voyage..you suck
great song!!!!!
Thank you, blandatious, for your comment! I hope that you have a happy holiday season...and may God bless you, too!
may your god bless you and your dear nephew. to share such sentiment is beautiful.
i agree horsejumper
Fair enough, though that may be more the fault of my crappy digital camera than the percussionist. I remember the sound mix being much better live than on this recording.
The percussionist is trying to make a beautiful ballad 'hardcore' and failing.
sweet! one of my favorite songs, thanks josh & elliott
this band suckssssssssss! very bad am i right i meen lisen to this song
the first time that i heard this beautiful song was at my 21 yr old nephew's funeral on 2/09/08. he passed away from musular dystrophy. he had heard this song on a commercial and loved it. may his precious soul rest in peace. i love you, a.j. from your aunt pat
Omg! I was at this show, in the front row, on the left! I got to meet Sally after the show. I didn't say much, because I tend to be shy, but I told her that Hem ought to be a household name.
this is my home town. I performed on this stage 9 days after this was filmed. I just discovered this song and this group.
