Here is how I added an external motion sensor to the Home Depot Werewolf and Witch Try Me ports. Here is how I rewired the hovering witch eyes to stay on all the time when power is plugged in. You could set her on a timer and when power turns on, her eyes will turn on and remain on in any mode. Cables I used: a.co/d/62vlnzS Any mods like this are do at your own risk.

Video on A WAY to get the 9.5 ft werewolf's eyes to stay on when in sensor mode. It bothered me that his eyes do not stay on before or after he howls when in sensor mode. I wanted his eyes to stay on all the time so here is how I did it. There are other ways, maybe better ways to do it, but this is how I did it. Any mods like this are do at your own risk.

Rescue of a deer caught in a fence. It's leg was badly injured and completely tore from the socket so we were not sure if it would make it or not. However, 3 weeks later in the same area, we noticed a deer limping on the same leg joined up with a small herd. We are hopeful that was the same deer.

Thanks for sharing! My 1990 camper has a pretty hardcore gap 3-4 inches out and 3-4 inches down. Any issues with the wall itself? I was thinking of like some sort of cable system to pull the actual wall up and then re-mount everything together. Did your wall just stay in tact and allow you to weld under it? I think mine might be worse than this one

This is exactly something I’ve been trying to work out in my head. Definitely a simple project. Thank you. Question: I have some smaller jumping dolls that generally are sound operated. They have that typical little try me button that’s attached to the cardboard label. I’m wondering if I cut the but off and used the plug and wires to connect unstead of the mono Jack if I could technically get the same results? Again thanks for sharing. I’m gonna go check out video on the eyes now.
Great stuff Bryce! I have the same critique as you on how the sensors work and also the eyes on both units. I may not get these mods done before Halloween but will likely do them before putting them away and have them ready for next year. Thanks for sharing!

Anyone had issues with the sound?
Great video, I recently purchased one and put it together and when I plugged it in I got no power at all. The power adapter and outlet it is plugged into works forsure, just not getting any power to the control box. Any ideas what the issue could be?
If you’re sure you’re getting the correct voltage out of the power supply, it’s got to be a bad connector or cable somewhere up to the control box. Have you probed the voltage at the connector that plugs into the control box?

Hello, ours works but when he howls the head doesn’t move back and forth. Is there something I need to do? I’ve watched so many videos. Can’t find anything.
I sat down tonight to start figuring out how to do this very thing with our werewolf we picked up last year. We have him 25ft from the road and nobody will get close enough to activate the sensor and I agree having his eyes off in that mode is a poor design choice. Thanks for taking the time to show how you setup the relay and power along with the bypass wiring for the eyes great hacks to these props!

Hello I misplaced my power cord the wire that plugs into the wall outlet then plugs into the witches junction box does anyone know we’re I can get a replacement?
What about the lights on her hand that illuminate her face and broom?

Unfortunately no - at least that I could see. His is more difficult and required cutting two wires and soldering. I did a video on how to do it last year if you’d like to watch and do the mod.
Great work on your witch mods! Have you thought about hacking into the voice circuit to see if you could get the mouth to move with your own dialogue?
Cool idea! I’ve not looked into that. I’m sure someone will come up with a way to do it though
I've used both of your HD hacks and now would like to know if you've attempted anything with the 12ft skeleton Lighting Kit to be able to maintain the set color every time it comes on without having to leave the lights on 24/7. TIA
I didn’t buy the lighting kit unfortunately so I’m not sure on that. We just zip tied one of those flame bulbs inside his chest the previous years and called it good!

As best I can tell, the werewolf can’t be done with a quick cable mod like the witch can. Unfortunately, I think he requires the soldering mod I showed in the other video. It’s not that bad. Let me know if you have questions.

You have great taste! My dad bought that baby brand new in 69. It was the family car into the 90s and shows all the signs of shoving 4 kids into it all those years. He’s passed on but my son and I have it running and are slowly trying to restore it.

Yes, I think so. I keep everything in the original box except the witch, but just leave her setup for the most part on a shelf since she is a little more work.

My task for today. I'm going to see if I can use flat tab connectors on the circuit board and tie into the wires within the Dupont connector so as to not have to solder anything. I'll let you know how it goes.
So I ended up soldering the wires to the circuit board posts as you did, but I removed the female pins for the red and black wires from the connector spliced them in with their corresponding wires and reinserted the pins back into the connector. It Works GREAT!!! I Cannot Wait To See It Tonight!!! THANK YOU ONCE AGAIN!!!
