Добавлен 6 ноя 2020
Hi, welcome to the channel. I am Vehicle Master 3000, A blind vehicle collector. This is why some of my videos are longer than other videos you Macy of the vehicles here. I think everyone should be able to have a picture of what these vehicles look like; site or no site. On this channel you will find my vehicle collection, As the channel suggests. This includes brand-name such as: Toy State, Fisher-Price, or whoever makes any kind of vehicle I think is awesome. This is a vehicle channel after all. Mostly road rippers stuff but I’ll throw in some other stuff to. Hope you enjoy!!!

So after my last video on this, where the gearbox was all screwed up and stuff (but I didn’t realize fully at the time) this thing sat in my closet for the next two or so years. I almost forgot I had it until I was digging around in there one day and discovered it once more. having gained more RR knowledge in those two years, I decided to take another stab at repairing it, and well, it was succ...

Nice stang! The screw to the bater cover is super rusty as well :( Sucks about the Ramunition :( Also I used to have the Franchesco (Forgot how to spell his name)
Great finds! That rammuniton has some sun damage. The stickers do anyway. Also the screw in the battery compartment cover is rusted badly.
@@SLICED24 yeah, it’s corroded pretty badly. It’s not responding to the buttons at all so tomorrow I’m going to open it up and see if maybe it’s just too dirty in there because when I picked it up off the Goodwill shelf, dirt was literally falling out from the space between the body and the chassis. i’m hoping to revive the board, but if not, I’ll at least get another spare speaker and possibly a motor out of it.
@@Vehiclemaster-qq6fr I'm sure the board will work. And yeah it's good to have a spare big speaker.
Its a second gen so it should power right up, unfortunately i had two 3rd gen monster trucks in similar condition, badly corroded pcbs and wouldn't work at all. Also have a red 12" bigfoot with the worst sun damage imaginable
@@thattoyvehicleguy9000 wow. I can't even imagine how bad plastic could get sun damaged on a Road Rippers vehicle. I have only seen mild damage on some from eBay listings in the past.
@@thattoyvehicleguy9000 I put foil behind all the springs and it still hasn’t powered up yet which I’m actually kind of surprised about because my vault Buster, while not corroded, looked like a beach inside when I first got it and still works fine.
Pretty nice Haul, the Spin Out you got is a Custom '11 Ford Mustang GT 5.0 btw (Custom because it's FWD and Mustangs aren't FWD unless FWD swapped with a custom built chassis)
@@Xbell-The-Road-Rippers-Expert I saved it from corrosion for the most part, but it did still have those golden power batteries in it.
@@Vehiclemaster-qq6fr damn that's unfortunate but good thing you saved it Demo batteries usually don't really corrode or at least not too easily. Also, the only other Spin Out vehicles that aren't Custom Vehicle Makes are the '06 Honda Civic si and the '12 Mini Cooper Countryman WRC Rally Edition because those 2 are naturally FWD vehicles
I think that goes with Fire truck mater
Glad you fixed it 🙂.
very glad you managed to get and save this nice vehicle man, glad that it works good, and looks good
Holy shit! Nice!
Looks cool, but it's a New Bright. I hope it works good because most New Bright R/C vehicles are crap even when they are new. I'm not trying to be a jerk or anything I'm just letting you know. Also weird and random question: do you have any pets? I saw some animals in various videos of yours, but i didn't know if you owned them or not.
@@SLICED24 it’s cool, I’m aware of how crappy New Bride can be. i’ve had at least two fail on me. so far, this one’s great. also, yes, I do have pets; one dog and two cats. occasionally, they’ll walk by and if I noticed them and they’re not causing a scene, I’ll show them just for the hell of it because, you know, their pets and they’re awesome.
@@Vehiclemaster-qq6fr that sucks about the New Bright cars. Also Cats are great. I have one and she's cool. You may have heard her in some of my videos from my house.
The biggest problem with the regular ones is the jiggly steering and clear plastic steering casters, however I tested the rebound and snakebite (which have tank steering) and way more fun than most imo
@@thattoyvehicleguy9000 yeah I've experienced the jiggly steering. I have a huge Corvette that I got back in like Christmas of 2021. It has a large speaker. It has lights too, I might mod it by adding some more. However the gear that's on the shaft of the motor is really rough looking. Stripped gear teeth almost. The gearbox was stiff even when I took it out of the box, so months later I took it apart and found out that was the problem. I still need a new gear lol.
@@thattoyvehicleguy9000 yeah, this one has what I think you’re calling tank steering; it doesn’t have the left right thing in the front. it just uses the two sets of wheels turning in opposite directions, which makes for some awesome donuts.
And how does it drive forward? Is there a third motor on the wheels? Or just moves weird.
@@therobofighters1119 this only has two motors. There’s some kind of flip gear system in it. when the motor spins one way it turns the gears for the hydraulics. When it spins the other way, it turns the gears for the wheels. this is the same for both the front and the back.
Fantastic job fixing it man!
@@Xbell-The-Road-Rippers-Expert thanks. I just wish I hadn’t lost the suspension because now it makes the rumbling kind of useless. still great to see it fully functional otherwise though.
1:21 bro how many CAT Vehicles play that song 😭
@@DeathnoteXRap1d Too many lol.
Yeah way too many of them, I wanna find the full song so damn bad lmao The fact that it's the same song on the 1st Gen Big Foot and Raminator is crazy too
I like the ones that have the TTCB charger wheels
Those wheels are called D'Vinci Pashas, look them up Call them by that
@@hinkleprincess oh, so you like the newer variance.
The 2018 Turbo Rig Drag Semi uses that same speaker grill mold same with the Street Vortex Custom '11 Pagani Huayra DD6. Some Toy State items also use the "paw print" button design as well like the Illuminators, Heavy Metal Monster Truck and etc.. not just the Nikko RRs, they just continued using that button style most likely because it was more convenient to use for some vehicles but some vehicles still have the traditional shape symbol buttons. Nikko still makes the '10 inch Garbage Truck (the other one you kept referring to in the video) they just decided to make a smaller cheaper option which is this one hence why it has that RR Mad Machines feel to it same goes for the Fire Truck. Also yeah the rear dome lights work on this vehicle as well, has 4 lights it just doesn't have headlights
All i need is the Whoomp Truck and im happy. (Idgaf about the well will rock you one)
@@DeathnoteXRap1d and no button combinations will activate this? I tried a couple the other day and it did nothing different.
The Road Rippers vehicle i want is another Top Tune Come Back. Preferably the Toyota FJ cruiser. Definitely one of the newer ones, the older ones don't work to well. I had a few in the past, but they had issues. Also the street pounding sound vehicles are alright, the dodge is my least favorite tho. The Escalade is better.
@@SLICED24 yeah, so far the escalate is my favorite. The Dodge doesn’t look as realistic. i’d like to find another comeback vehicle in general as they’re almost impossible to get a hold of in my area. so far, I’ve found two or three a year at most. I haven’t even found any yet this year. TTCBs especially seem to be hard to come by. The last one I found was the H2 SUT and that was almost 2 years ago now.
I had three of these back when I was younger: a red one which I got from Walmart, a black one which I got from Dollar General in a blue box, and this one I got for Christmas in 2010.
I think there's a secret phrase on these as well. Also I think this is a 2006 model
@@sonyretroradiofan177 I didn’t know these had a secret phrase. also, I thought Xbell had the 06 variant and his revs the engine after the second part of the song.
@@Vehiclemaster-qq6fr I think that one was released in 07 or 08.
@@sonyretroradiofan177 I thought xbell's was a 2005 variant like the one that toy vehicle guy 9000 has.
@@SLICED24 Oh now I remember it was an 05
@@SLICED24 I thought the last one he got was a 06. also, what’s the difference between the 05 and 06 variant.
I would recommend putting the company name too, which is Mattel. I'd put it after the year in the title. Also that button on the bottom of the shake n gos is for a track. For some reason everyone seems to forget those exist lol. I never had one, I just seen them on RUclips before.
@@SLICED24 i’ve seen a couple videos of them several years ago, but never really got how they worked. I just remember that the track talked when the cars were at the starting line and when they passed the finish. I never saw any of them in stores and only know about them because of RUclips. I did forget all about them though. we usually just used the button for longer race time.
Those L.E.Ds you were holding weren't lighting up. Idk why. Also did you happen to unscrew a large plastic piece that went under the speakers themselves? If you did then there should be holes small enough for those L.E.Ds to fit through to give the speakers their lighting effect. I hope I'm explaining this right, but if I'm not, then fear not because there is a certain expert who has this same vehicle (different color) who could help you out more. Also do you have any spare screws to use to hold the vehicle together since most of the screws that were drilled are now useless?
@@SLICED24 I did takeoff the big plastic piece covering the speakers. I didn’t see any obvious place for them to go, but it doesn’t mean that there wasn’t one. also, yes, I do have spare screws, but I don’t know if they would do me much good as the tips of the screws are still in the body.
@@Vehiclemaster-qq6frif you can grip what's left of the screws then you can take some pliers or vice grips and turn counterclockwise to get the screws out.
@@SLICED24 thanks, I’ll try that. first things first, though. gotta hope this superglue dries properly and that I got the gear in the right spot.
@@Vehiclemaster-qq6fr You're welcome! Also I didn't watch the unboxing video so I didn't know the gear was slipped, but my tractor had a slipped gear so I glued the gear, although it's at my grandparents house so I'll have to see if it's done correctly the next time I go there lol
@@SLICED24 it’s cool because I actually barely mentioned it in the video. it was more of a thought than an actual statement. I didn’t find out for sure that it was slipped until later. The only thing I don’t like about these gearboxes is that there’s no clear place to superglue the gear so I have to hope I centered it right.
Cool 👍 I couldn't get my 2006 Lightning McQueen fixed. The board had solder points that just came off the board. If the traces weren't so small then I'd be able to scrape some of the trace, then solder a wire to it. Also the board in mine wasn't a rare variant. I found a video on RUclips of the specific variant I have and mine just has the normal phrases. "The checkered flag is mine!" And "Speed. I am speed." Also I've seen the variant you have on RUclips before and they have pretty good sound quality.
@@SLICED24 i’ve always been curious how good it’s supposed to sound. I think I’ve seen one or two videos of it, but both were slightly distorted. when I first got it, the original speaker was also very distorted. it lasted about two months before it blew out. I don’t even remember where I got this speaker from. I just remember that it’s way smaller than the original.
@@Vehiclemaster-qq6fr a couple of years ago I have my street truck a new speaker.
@@SLICED24 i’d like to get a new speaker in here, but I don’t currently have any the size of the original. Also, I saw the street truck at a flea market once but passed it up for another shake N go. kind of wish I hadn’t because to my understanding that one’s kind of rare and I haven’t seen one since.
@@Vehiclemaster-qq6fr well there's 3 different versions of the street truck. One that's green and purple, I think it's like a DC comics thing. I have no idea what audio it has. There's also 2 street trucks that are red and yellow. One has an L.E.D sensor on the hood and a sticker on the tailgate that says Goodyear. My original one from when I was little was like that. It's the rarer one. The one I have now doesn't have those two things I mentioned, so it might be a few months newer because they were made the same year. The one I have now is the one I got at a thrift store in 2019. The stickers over time looked bad so I peeled them all off.
@@SLICED24 I don’t remember it very clearly, but I don’t think the one I saw had the LED in the hood.
I forgot to mention i love the pitch of the song and the windshield says "Road Rippers" on it. The other one you showed has the Road Rippers logo printed bigger, which i like because it looks better.
I'm glad you were finally able to find one of the older ones. Also the series is called "Road Rockin' Rides, not Rock N Rides. Just wanted to let you know. Another thing is that the ones on eBay are expensive because people literally think they are from 1997 because of the mold that Toy State never changed on the battery compartment cover. These should only be worth about $5 depending on the rarity. If it's the newer ones from like 2015- present, then those should be worth 5 cents because lets be honest they don't work good like the older ones do lol
@@SLICED24 yeah, I got this one for only two bucks. well worth the wait.
I found one at savers a while back (I made a video) but some idiot decided to drown it in water
I saw the orange one at savers a year ago but i didnt get it because i found better things
I have this but it dosent light up and theres a big chip on the front
@@DeathnoteXRap1d nice! Does yours have a controller?
nah
I always find my RRs with the default batteries in them no one in my area but me likes rrs apparently lol
@@DeathnoteXRap1d interesting. It’s a very rare occurrence in my area.
Yeah RRs with old demo batteries are irritating, mainly when they're dead and corroded. It's like people don't know to actually change the darn batts at all in stuff anymore, like do they think the batteries will last literally forever? 💀
@@Xbell-The-Road-Rippers-Expert so far, none of the ones I’ve found with original batteries have been corroded yet which is really surprising, especially in older ones like this. The few that I found always have just enough power to show me that they work. The knock offs, on the other hand, are a different story.
@@Xbell-The-Road-Rippers-ExpertIt really pisses me off when people just leave dead ass demo batteries to corrode. Especially the default ones. Those things make a huge mess like someone took a shit in the battery compartment. Hell when I got my SPS escalade the thing still had the DEFAULT 17 YEAR OLD AHH VINNIC BATTERIES. NOT EVEN DRAKE WOULD TOUCH THOSE CORRODED AHH BATTERIES. I was sitting there for 30 minutes cleaning out and / or replacing the contacts. And then a couple wires decided to fall off lol
@@DeathnoteXRap1d actually, original Toystate batteries might not be as rare of an occurrence as I thought. I just changed the batteries in my 09 wheel loader for the first time and it had the original batteries in it. I have a few other vehicles that I’ve never had to change the batteries in and I’ve got a sneaking suspicion they might have the OG batteries too.
Its missing the ford sticker it was like that when i got it
Oh my god i have the rare red version got it at a flea market last year
I like yours right now i am looking for the black one and the yellow
I have one of these i found it at BJs

I want the expidition so badly. I found one at savers but it was fried
Thanks man and congrats! This one sounds so good (I'd recommend not spamming the button when doing a speaker mod so the viewer gets a normal activation of the item)
When I was little, I had two mini Road Rippers trucks: Snakebite and Bigfoot. If you have any of the mini trucks you know that some of them play one song and some of them play the other one. Well, except for this one time when I think I glitched it. I was playing with the mini Snakebite truck when all of a sudden it started to play the music from the Bigfoot one. I'm trying to get it to do that again now. Do you know how to make that happen?
@@hudsonweisner no, I’ve tried to find secret features with the mini monster truck boards, but haven’t gotten them to do anything interesting.
I had the 2013 model and mine was lower pitched.
@@SLICED24 I actually saw the 2013 model in a thrift shop a few weeks back. Looked a hell of a lot better than this thing does lol.
@@Vehiclemaster-qq6fr isn't it the same thing tho? Lol
@@SLICED24 yeah, it is. I meant cosmetically. this one still had all the stickers and the bucket arms weren’t broken. The gearbox was also a lot quieter when I pushed it, which is something I didn’t think was possible with the bulldozers. The main reason I didn’t get it is because I didn’t know if the bucket was actually gonna work and I didn’t want to have to go through what I went through with this one to fix it.
@@Vehiclemaster-qq6fr oh ok. 👍
I saw this at TJ Maxx back in January along with the red one. I passed on getting them because I don't like their design and the gearbox is too loud lol. Still good that you have one tho. Also your title says "Roys" instead of "Toys" lol.
Yeah I wish the speaker (or sfx themselves) was a little louder and the gearbox a bit quieter, I think in December I saw the red/yellow but I couldn't get it at that time but at least I have the green one
I had this exact Lightning Rods Mustang in 2011.
@TheFakesChannel do you have this?

My kid had this car he left in the driveway it got run over by my Silverado didn’t know it was rare🤔
@@mikecrystalrobert7898 oh man, that sucks. to be fair, if your kid had this and this happened when it was first produced, it probably wasn’t that rare.
@@Vehiclemaster-qq6fr barely any stores carried them back when they were new in the 00s so they were pretty elusive back then

Cool 👍
Some of the sideskirt glow is out.. common (and yet irritating) issue with the ones that have full LED sideskirts, hope you re secure the taillight eventually as well. Other than that it's amazing man!
@@Xbell-The-Road-Rippers-Expert is it even worth trying to replace them? Won’t they just go out again.
@@Vehiclemaster-qq6fr at this point i wouldn't even bother because they're tethered a certain way in there for them to work properly and to be sequenced
@@Xbell-The-Road-Rippers-Expert OK, I’ll leave it alone. Really, as long as I have the main headlights and taillights working so it looks realistic enough that’s fine with me. i’m assuming the sides skirt lights are just gonna go out one by one until there are no sides skirts.
hell yeah !!!!!! 🗣🔥 at least yours works and stuff but I see some of the side skirt lights don't work and the tail light is broken unfortunately which is sad but for the price you got it I would be fine with it having issues and stuff, still a nice af find
Honestly, I think the previous owners just wanted the thing gone lol. when we asked for the price and the lady saw what we were looking at she was like “just give me five for it”.
@@Vehiclemaster-qq6fr you got an amazing deal tho, I'm glad you could obtain this vehicle
I used to have the 2007 model of this. Mine was an open cab as well. Mine had incandescent bulbs tho. And the lever on mine was skinny. Most of these have a fat one. Also with the 2009 models is that the taillights are screwed in from the outside of the vehicle, which i think doesn't oook the greatest, while the older ones are screwed in from the inside. I also used to have the 2005 closed cab variant as well. Botrh ended up broke in the end.
Woah! Did you find that at goodwill? Anyways great find bro!!!!!!!
@@eliasdoezeverything it was at a flea market.
yooooooooooo, what the fuck bro, nice ass find !!!! this and your stubby base lizard king are your best finds this year, and for the price you got it for, damn that's a good find, this is exactly why I gotta go to a damn flea market, there should eventually be one near me, but you found this and the crossfire, both lucky af finds, and this is my first time seeing it in the box, and the box looks really nice, and for the price you got it I wouldn't mind the box being torn or the noisy motor, but the Acura on the side looks so damn good in that color, like tf it looks so good
@@masterroadrippercollector9723 best part is, unlike the crossfire, this was a complete success.
YOOOO!! JUST LIKE HOW FIXING MASTER FOUND HIS GREEN ONE!!! DUDE NICE!! SAME COLOR AS MY FIRST ONE TOO! it's a Custom '04 Tuner-Hatchback Also yeah tbat motor needs lube, lubricate the gears as well. The issues were of them overheating with the microcontroller (the component that drives the motor) and the batteries heating up, because Fixing Master's Totally Tuned had the batteries get extremely hot and it happened when he was asleep too, he had it sitting inside the box then he heard the motor running then he got up took it out tge box again to see what the issue was and the board was warm along with the batteries being very hot to the touch (when batteries get hot they explode, luckily he caught them before any of that could occur) but all that caused it to fry so it wouldn't drive anymore, which is why you shouldn't keep the batteries in them while storing them just incase. Now with my old one, the board kept getting hot and the Sideskirt Glow was burned out because of the irregular voltage as well, ive noticed that o the ones that have incandescents for the Sideskirt Glow with the LEDs dont get that issue but the ones with all LEDs for the glow tend to burn out or get weaker lights more. The batteries in my currnt Hatchback did get warm once but i took them out and thankfully it never occurred again as of recently but the board still gets hot, you'll need to get a mini heatsink for these honestly
@@Xbell-The-Road-Rippers-Expert it was made in 05 right? That’s what the box said. also, I can’t remember how rare these are. I remember you had one that was ultra rare I believe and then you had another one that was extremely rare.
@@Vehiclemaster-qq6fr the ultra rare one is the 2004 one with the castle logo on the battery case cover, this one is the same rarity as the other Totally Tuned extremely rare also yeah its 2005
holy fuck… nice find! Dont leave the batteries in for too long or else the car will end up like california right now.
Wow glad you found it
Glad you got it. 👍 you need to lubricate the motor and gears inside the gearbox. Have you ever used WD-40? That stuff is great for that. Also yes the boards can overheat. I would not recommend leaving batteries in it if you're not using it just to be safe, but that's LUCKY. you found an older Road Rippers vehicle new in box. If you don't mind me asking how much did you pay for it?
@@SLICED24 the seller was only asking five bucks for it. also, yeah, I usually use aquifer for lubricant. Works well enough.
@@Vehiclemaster-qq6fr I'm not sure what aquifer is. Also $5 is a steal.
@@SLICED24 it’s basically the same thing as Vaseline.
@@Vehiclemaster-qq6fr Yeah I'd use that because WD-40 isn't too much of a lubricant plus with enough friction it can cause stuff to get warm so keep using what you're using if it works and is safe for the items
You can get mini heat sinks and thermal paste to dissipate heat from the motor driver, I did that on my ttcbrs, if 3 of these were found at thrift stores and 2 nib hopefully I find one soon
