    We all know that there are very few clips of the real Ravel, so most of those black-and-white clips must be filmed with an actor (IMDb says it’s Thierry Costa). It’s both beautiful and sad, seeing the man on the screen, and being reminded of how much we miss him in this world.

      @@MattPozdoltheVoice I can’t be sure because I don’t know how many real Ravel clips there are in hidden archives. The clip at 6:02 is definitely Ravel himself (you can find it in multiple videos on RUclips), and the clips of his dead body look exactly the same as the only photo of his body that you can find online. So it is entirely possible that all the black-and-white clips are, indeed, Ravel himself. This would make this documentary more precious than anything else.

    • @eufemiahz1556
      @eufemiahz1556 10 месяцев назад

      But also… what kind of freak would film the opening clip of Ravel struggling to write (if it’s really him)? I can’t decide.
