Just so you know, James is supposed to be stronger than old shape Henry. James's tractive effort is 27,406LBF and Old shape Henry is weaker than a normal black 5 that has 25,445LBF. So yes, James should have been able to do it by himself. Unfortunately many people just assume that he is just as weak as Edward. And even then, Thomas and James together would be stronger than Henry even if he was a gresley and stanier hybrid (aka his rebuild)
