I am born and raised in Ogden. Just don't get involved with the wrong people. There are tons of homeless. Other than that, Ogden is pretty chill, coming from someone who knows every street there.

Affordable is relative. Utah has the third highest household income in the USA. This video doesn't mention that traffic around the point of the mountain (between Draper and Lehi) is hell on earth during rush hour.

Hello! I know you guys said 4 wheel drive or all wheel drive vehicles would be best for Utah weather. But I was just curious if you knew if a 2 wheel drive suv with all season tires would still be okay especially for winter weather. My husband and I are set to be at Hill AFB by December 31st so I'm assuming there would be a good amount of snowfall by then. And for reference I have a 2006 GMC Envoy with 2 wheel drive. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

Enjoyed your video, not a fan of Ogden area but you know it well and I don't. Price!! Affordable but "Nice Place" I wouldn't use that description, the economy is not good, stores closing partially due to the coal industries problems. Overall Utah has been a great place for us to live but if we hadn't owned a home for many years we probably wouldn't be able to buy a home here. I don't see that changing. I do enjoy your videos as we are ready to downsize. I think I would have put Eagle Mountain on the list.

You should learn how to set the volume in your videos so it doesn't go from a whisper (some parts of the video when you talk) to a shout (i.e. intro music, other parts of the video when you talk). Super annoying to watch, so I didn't watch the whole thing.

If your coming to Saltlake. You have to attend at least one Rodeo and meet the farmers. You can Bow Hunt, fish & lastly shoot rifles on the weekends 🤠. These guys are spot on. Buy local farm foods.

Are there really 1000 restaurants in a city of 200,000? One for every 200 people? I think you mean the entire county because the whole state of Utah has 3000 restaurants for 3 million people, or about 1 per 1000. I'll bet the actual number for the City of Salt Lake is closer to 250.

Lived in Utah for 5 decades, so wanted to see what you picked. As I expected, your picks are heavy on trendy spots in the downtown area. Sort of a " we're not backwards and boring, we've got trendy spots like other big cities" thing. Been to Red Iguana, The Pie, and Park Cafe, but not the others, because at my age trendy means crowded, noisy, and expensive. Thanks for this, and hope you do more of these.

I love O-town but it is getting way too expensive. All in all Utah has gotten way too expensive when you factor in if you are not Mormon you have to listen to people talking about Sunday teachings every Monday when you go to work, school or even grocery shopping. Then you get harassed by the Mormons if you don't live their way. My children were ostracized, I was also as a child, my animals were killed and hurt by them. They will smile to your face and be so sweet and nice until they know you will not convert then they turn on you.

Lol I'm a delivery driver and Riverdale been nothing but respectful. And for tooelle i live out there for 3 years. Both city's been great. Now im back in my home town kearns. I disagree with almost everything they say.
