adidas Adipower Multiweight CTRL 3.3 Padel Racket
Hey guys, I want to buy the adipower light but the 3.1, I like the optic more. What are the differences?
Not superior to bullpadel vertex rackets ....for the metalbone and bullpadel vertexes you ha e to be higher intermediate and advanced level player to manuver them right to serve you.
Hi!if you have to choose one between this one and hrd, which would you prefer?thanks
Thanks for the video. How would you compare it to the Babolat technical viper or Siux Fenix Pro 4?
It is the best CTRL 💪
Hello, between the Carbon CTRL model and the CTRL 3.3 which one has more power? Because right now I have a CTRL 3.3 and I love ball control but I lack power because I play on the left, will Carbon CTRL give me a little more power?
Hey! Nice video. How much experience is recommended for this racket? Im going 2times a week classes and 2 games per week since may(started from 0)
Is it recomended to put protection tape on this racket? Looks like it has an irregular shape at the head of the racket
What do you think of him in defense and the nice spot
Are they good for advanced players too? I've played with metalbone control and hrd but i think they are a little bit heavy
Do you think the sweet spot on this racket is smaller than the Multiweight CTRL? The MTW has 18K carbon, which makes it harder, while the Cross It CTRL uses aluminized 15K carbon, which is softer. I also noticed that the Cross It has smaller holes in the middle, which could make it more rigid/hard. My question is: which of these two rackets has the larger sweet spot? I Also think the smaller holes in the Cross It CTRL might require more body movement and bigger gestures to handle the racket effectively. Do you agree with this? Thanks a lot for your fine quality reviews!
I play with a normal metalbone, and i’m skilled enough to use it and I like it except for the soft foam wich gives it the trampoline effect. I want to switch to the hrd but how much harder is it than the normal metalbone, and is it a lot harder to use as well as the normale one? I want to switch because I tried a bullpadel hack 03 and loved the hard/stiff feeling it has when hitting a ball, but I dont want to change away from the metalbone.
Just ordered this today. Is it more power in this then normal Adidas ctrl 3.2? Wanted som more power and try Diamond racket. Only 6k but head heavy maybe help some with the power?
How would you compare this to the cross it?
This guy is quite clearly a tennis player who has played very little padel. His technique is incredibly poor, hitting tennis groundstrokes and tennis volleys. Nice try, but I'd prefer to get my reviews from actual padel players.
Hi, I am an intermediate player who likes to play on the left side. Ive just watched your reviews for both this racket and the metalbone carbon, both look great. Which would you say you prefer and would be more ideal for me?
for lower intermediate CTRL. for high intermediate normal
You tested For defensive players that want to improve the attack performance, which one would you recommend between this Metalbone Carbone and Metalbone Cntrl 3.3.?
The CTRL is recommended!
Great video, I have the Rx red. It's a really good racket för beginners that want a racket they can improve their game with. Only downside is the handle is quite small. I'm a big guy 6'6.
Thanks for the info!
Hi! Would this racket suit me If I play on the left side of the field?
You can definitely attack with this racket!
Can you guys do a review of the Metalbone Pro EDT and whether it’s any different to the regular Metalbone series? My Metalbone 3.2 CTRL broke and I’m not sure if I should get the regular Metalbone now or wait for VA to restock on the Pro EDT
The Metalbone 3.3 is perfectly fine! But your choice in terms of aesthetics.
this one is better than the adidas Adipower Ctrl MTW Pro Edition ?
This is more forgiving but less precision-focused
Love your reviews, I’m playing the 3.2 and love the hardness and control, but in more advanced and faster games I could do with a bit more forgiveness but don’t want to lose the control, is this a good option or too soft, is there something inbetween the 3.2 and 3.3?
Try the Cross-it Light
Hi, I’m looking for an easy racket to use with a medium-hard feel for an intermediate level player. I’d love some help in my smash and air hits but I don’t want a difficult racket because of my level. Would this one be a good fit for me?
The sweet spot here is not medium/hard. I recommend Adipower CTRL or Metalbone 3.3.
Wow he’s all cringy!
For a intermediate player, the metalbone team 2024 or bullpadel 02 carbon 2024?
Shape of Metalbone is easier when transitioning into more advanced overheads.
Great video! I like how you were detailed in the review. I was waiting for one more detail. Could you let me know if the surface of the racket has any rugosity/friction/pattern/texture, to be able to have better spin on the ball? If not, how good is it when it comes to applying spin to the ball?
Thanks! These rackets are smooth surfaced. The friction from the holes gives you the spin. If spin is your priority, I would look elsewhere in the adidas range.
What's the difference between this and the 3.3 ctrl? Apart from the adjustable weights
Very big difference in feel. The 3.3 CTRL is strong and stable on contact. This is soft and cushioned in the centre. Easier power in this racket but more precision in the CTRL.
@@VirginactivePadelClubZa Great thank you! Couldn't find anything online about the difference with the Carbon series
A great review on this series
Thanks!
Hello. Congrats for the review video! One question: how can it have so much power if it uses the Eva Soft foam? Isn't a more control foam than power ? Thanks
The soft foam compresses and rebounds with huge power. The key here is how easy power is generated, not how much power it maxes out with.
Is it low balance? Or it’s heavy on the top ?
Lower balanced.
I got the Round Adipower CTRL 3.3 racket, and im a beginner at padel. But I'm feeling like I want more power in my normal shots as I don't play at the net so much. Any recommendations ? Should I try tear or diamond shaped rackets?
I would go for the Metalbone Carbon CTRL for more power. If you want to change shape then the Metalbone Carbon works too.
Hello I’m a right side player and I don’t know that this or the adipower multi weight is good for me I usually like to take the control of the game but when I get the chance I would love to finish the point with a good and aggressive smash So which one do you prefer ? What do you think about ? I’m play both sides and I want a good mix of power and ctrl ?
For the right side, between those two I would recommend the Adipower but consider the Multiweight CTRL too!
Hello I’m a right side player and I don’t know that this or the adipower multi weight is good for me I usually like to take the control of the game but when I get the chance I would love to finish the point with a good and aggressive smash So which one do you prefer ? What do you think about the metal one series
I definitely suggest this racket for a right side player. The precision is unmatched.
Great review thank you!
Thanks!
is it worth upgrading to it from the 3.2? or should i wait for the 3.4
If you like a harder foam, yes!
Hi..i bought the adipower 3.3 multi weight cntrl (love it)Alex ruiz I want similar but softer for tennis elbow What u suggest? This metalbone or something else..price is no issue ..also its cold here in jhb for hard rubber during winter..
Metalbone Carbon CTRL is ideal, very soft in the centre.
Hey if im a 27 y/o beginner but looking forward to get better at Padel (by buying a serious & premium racket), of all the Multiweight lineup, which one would you suggest?
CTRL Multiweight
My brother he is in a good level he plays tournaments is this racket will be good for him or he needs something higher
Higher than this
How does it compare to the 2023?
Not comparable. Much more power. Different racket completely.
@@VirginactivePadelClubZa interesting. Thank you !
Sure its eva soft or eva hard??
Hi, this is definitely the softer foam, not like the Metalbone HRD+
🤩
Hi Chevaan, in your opinion, what is the best bang for buck adidas racket for a 40 year old intermediate player? I don’t play competition but i like to beat the club players and colleagues 😅
Definitely this one! I would also consider the Adipower CTRL.
@@VirginactivePadelClubZa been looking at adipower the past few days, can’t really decide between the 2… what are the differences?
Nice review. I'm playing on the left side, i played agressively for be at the net and when im on the net i play with patenly and a lot of spin (essenticialy slice for build the point and finish after) do you think the racket make a good spin ? its okay for me ? (Sorry for my english)
We felt that the Cross-it CTRL provided more spin than this one. If you want a control racket with more spin potential, that's the one!
@@VirginactivePadelClubZa thaaanks
I bought the adipower cntrl multiweight 3.3 and i love it… but i want a lighter racket as well..how does this racket compare to the racket i have? In terms of control and power?
A more muted feeling than yours. For a lighter option I would rather consider the Cross-It Light.
Why so many of them raquets crack very easily??
How does this compare to the standard 2024 metalbone
Bouncier, with a larger sweetspot. More power, and easier power.
And how does it compare to the HRD ?
Hello, I saw some videos about a few Adidas rackets, namely the Adidas Adipower Multiweight Ctr and the Adidas Adipower Controle 3.2, and the feedback was that they were breaking after only a few games. Therefore, I wanted to understand if this racket does not suffer from the same problem. Thank you!
What is the thing with the "Team" models, anyway?
A more affordable entry into the silhouettes on offer with different materials.
hello I would like to have some information on the new adipower light 3.3 because I play with the 3.2 myself and I would like to know if it still has a slightly hard dry touch on impact with the ball and does the new one have a little more power with just as much control?
?
This is a similar feeling yes, and we felt that this foam gave more easy power with the same control.
@@VirginactivePadelClubZa i would like to buy one between the 3.2 and 3.3 considering i want a control racket. which one would you recommend ? ( i currently use a 3.2 metalbone, but i am more a control player, dont like going big on smashes)
having tried both the adidas power CTRL and adidas power CTRL multiweight did you feel there was any big difference between two rackets ?
The CTRL was definitely more forgiving and softer. The multiweight was also much more precision focused and less about giving you easy power.
