So relatable I’m a junior in nursing school and don’t have any true genuine friends college is a scam I’ve given up socializing :( hang in there

It’s easy to make “friends”, but you do have to put in an effort to make FRIENDS. There are probably tons of other people who feel that way, just try inviting people to hang out outside of class, even if it’s just to study.

i had my roommates & other dorm mates right off the bat as "party friends" but then i eventually found "class friends" who were ppl in & around my major who were taking the same exams as me, the same labs etc so there's always something to talk about with them. & by studying with those ppl i'd meet ppl they knew (either their party or class friends) & find those that i really clicked with like that. but yeah aside from clubs, meetings, study groups, classes etc i'd say just keep doing what you're doing & eventually you'll find someone you click with. sometimes we have to work harder than other ppl for meaningful relationships & it can be impossible to not compare yourself with your peers. but home will not be the way it was forever so i'd say just stick with it! (sorry i don't have better advice)

Don’t worry, you will benefit from having no friends. More time to study and do extracurriculars. I had no friends and came out of college making 90k because of it…

i’m going through the same thing. i moved home because of it. i want to transfer but im scared its gonna be the same sh*t everywhere else. like i’ve tried everything im comfortable doing here. i give up. i’m so sorry though, seriously. you deserve better than this.
