This was my first time participating in a Nationals race. I was the 54th call up putting me on the 7th row. After pushing hard throughout the race, I finished 19th.

I was hoping to have footage from the full race but a first lap mechanical took me into the pits for a bike swap. Since this exchange put me very far out of position, I decided to remain on my "B" bike for the rest of the race instead of switching back to the "A" bike. The Bladwin City crit was the final day of a three day omnium (The Kansas Omnium TKO) as well as the Kansas State Championship. This fun six corner course had cobbled roads, neighborhood streets and one tight corner. My teammate, Edward, finished in 3rd and I finished in 5th.

The first annual Criterium at the Columns. This was my first time promoting/directing a race it was a blast! I was excited to still have (barely) enough energy to race as well. We chose a fun six corner course on the streets of downtown Columbia as well as the University of Missouri.

The Kwik Star Crit was the final day of the Quad Cities Memorial Day race weekend. This felt like the most difficult race out of the four, but maybe that was due to the fatiuged legs and high temperatures. I was dropped and pulled at about minute 45 and was placed 32nd.

This was my favorite race from the four day Quad Cities Memorial Day crit weekend. I felt comfortable and more confident than the previous two days. I still need to firgure out the last few laps but it felt like I belonged in this race!

Dude! Way to fight for position in the last laps! Nice work.
Well done good ride - mostly. Tip - Always try to stay in top 10 on last lap as you wont be able to catch the leaders as teh speed picks up towards the finale if you dont...as you saw (from a retired B grade champ).

Nice work and I enjoyed the rear camera point of view. My first NATS also. I raced on Wednesday when the course was newer but soggy.

@hankC9174 There were a few teams of 3-5 riders each and the rest individual riders. The race was strung out for most of the hour. Enough climbing to wear on people, a good headwind after the climb and high temperatures made it difficult for people to get organized. The race started with 46 people, but only 17 didin't get pulled!
It's a wild race! Glad I competed this year, and have no regrets. That false flat at the top of the Snake really messes with your head. Hopefully the construction downtown will wrap up one of these years and they'll go back to the old course.
