Waiting to run Sydney ❤
So proud of you!!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼😍😍😍 I’m training my son to be the next!!! 🚀🚀🚀
I have run all of the Majors except for Tokyo (up next) and I can say without a doubt that Sydney ranks just behind Boston as my favorite. Boston only wins out because of the week long rockstar treatment and getting that qualifying time. Well done Sydney!! Definitely a must do!
Nice to have one in Aussie. Alright, I'd give that a nudge.
We DID IT! ❤
Just amazing 🎉
Lets start a petition for Katie.. 😢
Just amazing!
Miracle ❤
Absolutely lovely lad Mark is I've known him for years we all very proud of you well done brought me to tears what an achievement 🎉🎉
I used to be Mark's taxi driver for work and we became friends, such a lovely guy and wow well done you two 💪❤️
Vengo de la publicación de Facebook !! Que linda historia de superación felicidades para ambos ! 🙌🏼🙌🏼 mis respetos 🩷🩷 que sigan los éxitos, saludos desde Perú 🇵🇪
Incredible! Ruth’s 2:09:56 marathon is a game-changer for the sport. She’s raised the bar for all marathoners worldwide.
@Deena... Great interview @Carey
Hey! First commentary!!! Greetings from Mexico City.
Such a beautiful story and beautiful friendship. You are both such an inspiration ❤
I don’t think a single person would be upset if they awarded her the medal. They need to do the right thing.
It’s wild Katie doesn’t get a six star too made me tear up 😢but what amazing people who have wonderfully impacted each others lives
Congratulations Ruth.. 🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪
Best regards from China from our friend Do Ping.
#Venezuela IN THE HOUSE
What an inspiration! Well done!
Amazing! Both Mark and Katie are inspiration for others.
What an amazing testimony to 'Never giving up' you have both captured the true essence of ☆Team Spirit☆ Congratulations and Well done, a fantastic achievement 👏 🎉🏅🎖 AMAZING!!!
Mark and Katie you are both AMAZING. Thank you for sharing your story. I really needed this. God Bless you both...and GIVE KATIE A SIX STAR MEDAL PLEASE!!!
HOW COULD THEY NOT GIVE HER THE MEDAL AS WELL?!
I have tried 12 times to get into LM
Congrats to you both, amazing achievement! Outright robbery that Katies effort isn't recognised in every race, get her that six star finisher medal ASAP
Brilliant watch, very emotional. Well done and good luck in the future.
Incredible achievement for Mark and Katie. I cannot understand why the World Major’s doesn’t recognise Katie, you are incredible to sacrifice your own running journey for someone else. Congratulations to you both 👏🏻👏🏻
Massive congratulations Mark. Thankyou for leading the way, sharing your advice and encouragement to those blind runners who dream of following in your footsteps. You were very kind to me when I started my own six star journey. I hope to get that sixth star in Japan next year. I urge Abbott to work with the Majors organisers to develop a consistent policy to recognise the contribution of our incredible guide runners. Chicago and London Marathons are leading the way by officially recognising guides in results. Boston, NYC, Berlin and Tokyo would do well to follow their example.
Utterly brilliant and so inspiring! GIVE THE GIRL HER MEDAL!!!!!!
It's a great film. Mark is an incredible person, so inspirational. He should be so proud of everything he has achieved. Big love to Katie, all Mark's guide runners and everyone who has supported him along the way 👏
Absolutely amazing,,, knowing mark , and having run with him,, I know his determination,, and hard word he always puts in,, well done too you both 🏅🏅🏅🏅🏅🏅
2 incredible humans and athletes!! Well done and congratulations!💕🥹🥹
You guys! ❤️
This is so inspiring! I had tears in my eyes for the entire film. Congratulations Mark and Katie!!! You have so much to be proud of 💕
Absolutely amazing achievement 💕
Fantastic 👏👏
please ratify Katie's WMMs and give her the 6-star medal
Amazing mate, brought a tear to my eye, proud of you top lad and well done to you both great achievement 👏👏
Wonderful family...
What an inspiration Chris is - conquering a HUGE challenge and then using his experience to inspire and help others. Beautiful ❤️
Congrats Chris! So touching to watch you did Tokyo from the start to the finish. I was there to run Tokyo the same year and get my No. 5 star. You are such an inspiration. Btw, I got my six stars in Boston a month after Tokyo. It's not easy to grab this dream. You doubled down efforts to finish it. Like your mom said, your purpose doesn't stop in Tokyo. You can help many. You are a blessing to many! Bless you, Chris!
Wow what an amazing story. You are such an amazing person, athlete and inspiration Chris! Congratulations! 🥳 It makes me so happy to see the amazing people he’s surrounded by such as his supporting parents and his amazing guides! Wow!
Congratulations to Chris Nikic form the bottom of my heart!!!
Wonderful story and beautiful video guys ❤ it made me smile 😊 and had me in tears... Well done Chris!! Captures exactly why the majority of the running community is so understanding - as from the athletes chasing World Records to those trying to avoid the cut-offs we all face similar personal battles. Definitely inspirational and perhaps I need to find some goals again by setting my sights on ticking off the remaining 2 or 3 Stars. Much love from a Type 1 Diabetic runner who has run a +6 hour Marathon (when running unwell at London in 2017) to qualify for Boston 2025 with a 14 minute 29 seconds buffer in Amsterdam last year. Your Guide Runners were amazing too ❤❤ and the love from your family so wonderful to see.
Thank you so much for sharing this. What an inspiration and incredible parenting also. Also love how running helped Raymond with mental health. And I can associate endurance sport really builds the man/woman within. So cant wait for Tokyo. Brings me to tears watching the love and encouragement given by guides and supporters. So incredible. And makes me think....I so can do an ironman too. 😮
Inspired
Congratulations 🎉 you are an inspiration to all ❤🎉🏃🏻♂️
