Active Lincolnshire is one of 43 Active Partnerships across England that are working to make physical activity and sport a part of everyone’s life, regardless of age or background.
South Kesteven District Council - Finalist for the Active Workplace Award
South Kesteven District Council was a finalist for the Active Workplace Award at the Lincolnshire Sport & Physical Activity Awards 2024.
South Kesteven District Council fosters a healthy work environment where staff feel valued and encouraged to stay active. Each month, TeamSK introduces a theme for employees to try new skills, including physical activities. Activities have included a rounders tournament, skipping challenge and an 11 aside football match inspired by the Euros. The council has also promoted active travel by promoting Bike Week, and highlighting the cycle to work scheme.
