theres no way you need that many sound panels plus the pop filter. sound is good, but good sound can be achieved much more easily.

What an insightful and helpful conversation. It was so interesting to hear John say that it was giving in to the helplessness that helped. It sounds so similar to how I finally managed to move away from self-harming. Constantly fighting it, trying to achieve a state where I was not a self-harmer was too much pressure and ultimately too exhausting, because it made every thought about it. But when I accepted that I would always want to self-harm I felt a huge sense of calm and relief, because as John said, it's not longer about having to make that decision. Now, I hardly think about it at all, and even when that urge does come back I can be more rational and not angry with myself for experiencing that feeling. Obviously different strategies work for different people, but it's interesting to see the overlap between behaviours and ways of managing them when they hurt yourself or others. A huge well done to John for taking on the work and talking about it in such a thoughtful and gentle way. x

Oh. I thought the belly was cut right open as well, you'd think being a woman I would know really. Anyway 😀 congratulations 🍼
