It snowed a few inches here and there is more to come on Sunday in to Monday, it will be exciting to check the white flash cameras and see what the wildlife looks like during the snow at night. Unfortunately no. Shes gone. I have not seen her since back in the summer. We had a lot of fox around hunting this year but she was old and I would like to think she just peacefully passed on.

Very often with all the different locals in the postal workers unions one is usually going on strike every year and its always just before the holidays to screw up parcel delivery.

Thanks, thats a cam I have on my garage area but do not check it often. Its an old Spypoint 11D. It no longer holds the time so thats why the info strip is off. It also will not take any rechargeables because the battery compartment is too tight for the 6 required batteries. Not my favorite camera but I have it and thought I might as well put it out. I was surprised how much is actually around up by the garage, they dont come down onto the yard that often this time of year.

@@715trailcams thanks glad you liked it. Yeah that's my one good P60 I have left out of 3.. I'm finding the critter yearlings have moved off to find their own home range and those left are mostly the winter standard visitors. I saw another trail camera guy post some stuff from a cheap solar cam the ones with a solar panel built into the top. Cheap on Amazon. Built in solar Battery with 4aa backup. Vid and sound looks good. Thought about trying one but decided no. I go to the cams daily so I don't really need solar

@Woodsman991 I have Campark TC22 and as for the solar end of things it's awesome almost always reads 100% on the battery. Main thing I do not care for is the trigger speed. It says it's supposed to .1 second trigger speed but it's no where near as fast as my GardePro or Meidase camera's, I'm constantly catching the rear end of animals or missing them completely. I've tried all sorts of settings to combat this but the shots always seem lagged. It'd be a pretty rock solid camera if it wasn't for this.

Check out the video "Tim Harrell Swamp Trail Camera Pickup" posted about 4 days ago. At about 21 minutes in near the end he shows the Ceyomur CY95. Thats the one I was interested in. Tim Herrell has been doing trail vids for years but has backed away since having a scary run in with an alligator a couple of years ago. He used brownings for years but over time lost most to bear attacks.

I've seen some of Tim's older stuff, great content. The CY95 seems like a decent camera but I wouldn't get one for the simple fact that it uses micro SD cards instead of standard. I dislike using those smaller cards especially once it's starts to get cooler as you almost certainly can not have any sort of gloves on when handling. If you get one I would love to hear your experience with the brand itself.

Thanks and you are welcome. FYI, just lost my second P60 to the same screen failure as the first one. That's 2 out of 3. I'm seeing others online with the same issue. I am thinking that they have a batch of screen component quality issues

@Woodsman991 they must, thats a major bummer. Luckily mine are still working but I won't be buying anymore if that's the case.

@@715trailcams My only spare now is a Gardepro A3 which is basically the same camera. I am hoping the screen may be from a different batch :). The P60 screens fail the same way 4-8 months after initial use.Cams were purchased in 2023. Veritical lines start on the left side of the screen slowly progressing across the screen until you can see nothing written or displayed on the screen meaning set up is impossible.

@Woodsman991 I still love my A3's. They have been the best budget camera I've been able to find ($40) and out perform many of my more expensive cameras. Unfortunately I believe you were saying they were quite a bit more expensive in Canada.

the P60 goes for $80 here and the Gardepro A3 seems to be no longer available on Amazon Canada with the A3S going for $120. Right now the A3S is on sale on Amazon for $68 so I think I will order one for another spare. You get good deals on cams for sure. I look at anything below $100 Canadian a budget level camera.
