Creating Quadratic Equations from Block Patterns | Step-by-Step Guide
We're making equations from pictures? What is happening!? This might look complicated at first, but it is actually pretty fun. We figure out the pattern and dimensions, make a table, and are able to figure out a quadratic equations for this quadratic pattern.

    • @midnightmathtutor3597
      @midnightmathtutor3597 4 дня назад

      Good question! The distributive property helps us to simplify equations. When we have something like (x - 5), we can't subtract those because they aren't like terms. But, if there is something on the outside, the distributive property tells us we can multiply it in. So 2(x - 5) becomes 2x - 10. Gave you a sub because in all my years of education (High functioning autistic) you were the first person to just cut straight to business, you don't over explain, and don't treat your viewers like they are stupid.
