What is going on with BIG?

A small analysis and opinion on what's going on with BIG. Remember this is mostly speculation because not much information is available. I respect GOB B for what he has done for German Scene. Photocredit: Josip Brtan x.com/brcho_

So if Minecraft were to have a championship then the crowds would go insane? Good to know, good to know...

  • @Flapers

This video is just an explanation for why cs go has more accurate crowd cheers then valorant (which also doesnt really mean ''best crowds''). But the arguments you make does not work for games lika dota or league of legends? Its quite obvious in those games when you should cheer or not, maybe not as a first time viewer with 0 game knowledge but those people wont be in the crowd to begin with? Valorant however is not a good game to watch at all

Well for league and dota, you can follow who is winning by seeing number go up or down, casters telling you and other people cheering but it's hard to really understand what is happening. Csgo has guns, grenades, bombs, etc. We know what a gun is we know what bombs do, we know what smokes are. It's just easier to follow. Round based system to 13 is also easy to follow. Economy doesn't really affect viewing experience and only those you played the game will pay attention. The important thing is the action.

@@blablahnothin1996 Seeing people dying on the screen is what causes cheers which is really easy to tell in league and dota bro. And following along with who is dying is often very easy aswell as the teamfights are very clumped up and front to back. But in valorant there are things happening across the map very often which you cant see all at once

@Flapers I have to disagree with you there. I think for an inexperienced spectator, it's hard to gage the impact of a kill. I see towers go down, players, and Barrons and stuff, but the game just goes on without there being any clear indicator that those are important moments, especially when players respawn and the game looks like it just went back to normal despite there being significant changes and effects from these moments. I get that I should cheer or get excited, but sometimes there is just too much happening on screen with the abilities and effects especially in team fights and I can only cheer when the clear victor emerges. In a game like Farm Simulator or CS, I see score up I know for sure it accounted to something. In Farm simulator, I see trucks flying and flinging hay bale at the barn hoop, boom, I understand that means more points and score goes up. Plus I get how ridiculous seeing hay bale get tossed around is and I get to have fun watching the madness. CS, same system. Kills lead to score going up which lets me know hey kills are important to get the score up or bombs exploding which needs no explaining on what it looks or sounds like. I don't need to know maps or grenade lineups or economy, and just get to see it happen. Again as I said before, we all know what a smoke, flash, molotov, pistol, ak, etc. is. When a player is hiding in smoke, I understand that the enemy can't see them because it's a smoke grenade. When you go invisible in Dota, there is no clear way to see that. Taking things from real life and a scoring system makes things easier for a new viewer to understand and therefor cheer in big moments.

@@blablahnothin1996 the same arguments can be made for cs. Not every kill in the game is actually important yet they cheer. Its the same for league. AND again every person in the crowd has atleast the basic understanding of league which means they can 100% follow along with the game or else they would not go watch it live lol. When eu hosts worlds the crowds are just like cs. But the crowds suck in asia

@@FlapersSaying not every kill in CS has an impact is the worst argument you could have made. Every kill in top tier games affect the way the game is going to be played, for example a simple T death makes the Ts push and try to get a trade or fall back and remake their strat, and on the CT side a single death makes you leave space in order to make up for the loss of another teammate, all of this is without even including the economy, the mentality of the player and the rest of the things. Plus making it even simpler when you die in CS you can’t come back which affects the whole round unlike dota/Lol which you can come back in a few seconds, making every kill have less impact then CS.
