Hey Bri & Andrew. Thanks for sharing your screen reader experience with EasyRetro. Are you sharing this in the context of EasyRetro user testing for an accessibility conformance report or VPAT against WCAG 2.1, or just for your own use? I tried to get EasyRetro's accessibility statement, but they have not published it.

Andrew, thank you very much for this informative video. I am a maths academic who wrote a PhD in LaTeX many years ago. In the last few weeks I have been playing with Apple Page's "equation inserter" which can be used to write LaTeX or MathsML equations for documents on Mac, iPad or iPhone but I'm not able to say whether the Apple Pages Equation Inserter is accessible for writing equations; it may be. The resulting Pages document can be read by Apple's VoiceOver but I think VoiceOver might not be great at reading complicated maths. It would be nice if I was wrong about that. I'm currently using RMarkdown to create a website. R is a statistics software package; with RMarkdown, step 1 is to, what they call "knit", the document, which takes care of any statistics in the document and turns it from RMarkdown to plain Markdown. It is fine to have LaTeX in an RMarkdown document. After "knitting", if you request Markdown to create an HTML document, the LaTeX will be converted to MathsML. I am going to look at the AROW website you talked about. It sounds like they are working on a system to improve screen readers ability to read mathsML. Just as a side note, the Apple equation editor support pages on the web have an example of MathsML for setting out a long division problem, but besides long division, the idea is to write LaTeX.
