After hearing all about Gikomba market, I knew I had to go and see things for myself. I've been to a lot of places in my life, but this was one of the most intense and lively places I've been to. There was definitely some drama, but you can't have an adventure without drama. And my favorite thing about the place was how friendly the people were.

I explored the only underground temple I know of in Thailand, located in Chiang Mai, northern Thailand. After a brief tour of the beautiful temple grounds and underground tunnels, I turned my attention to the visitors of the temple. Thai people are renowned for the kindness, calmness, and of course the smiling, which is why it's called, "The Land of Smiles". I have a feeling that their Thailand...

Wat Pho gets about 10,000-15,000 visitors daily. It’s a beautiful temple in Thailand and Thailand’s most visited landmark. Everyone should visit it at least once. But there are over 400 temples in Bangkok alone, so I decided to look for a temple without any tourists. My mission was to find a “normal” temple where Thai people go on a daily basis, rather than going to the most visited temple in t...
