The Monkey adds an extra layer of relatability to the character. Seeing an actor characterized as Robbie Williams would've made me detacth from the emotional beats as this is just another celebrity life "What does it have to do with me?", but the monkey face makes me not see a celebrity, it makes me see another "human" (ironic, I know). When the child chimp was in the bathtub talking to his grandma, and she points the light at his heart; I really got the feels. As if the monkey became an avatar of anyone to relate to this story. Added to the fact that the movie is genuinely well written, and has an actual journey of a man learning to like himself, it really doesn´t matter if it is Robbie Williams's biopic.

a studio would never ever approve of such a terrible idea. thankfully michael gracey wasn't chained to the studio system and took an absolute huge gamble and its being praised overall. sad, that its not a financial win, but its undeniable that its a bat shit crazy movie. 9half/10. go see it.

Hell ya! RRR all the way! If u wanna watch more Tollywood movies(Telugu film Industry ) .. u can start with Baahubali 1 and 2, by the same direction of RRR .. SS Rajamouli. It's lil older, so vfx can be a bit dated but these 2 Baahubali films changed the landscape of Indian films history. Epic story. Epic emotions. You can check them out.

I think Wicked will win the Golden Globe and should win. It's a story everyone loves, but it's not even really that. It's a heavily political story that comes right off of the heels of the election. It's titular heroin runs on themes of racism and fascim in a mostly white culture. that brands her as evil when she did nothing wrong. It just goes to show how much problematic energy, corporate greed and corruption can brainwash anyone into believing such lies. Lies. In this film, the wizard was staying in power just by giving Oz an enemy that they didn't expect to have. And we knew she wasn't the enemy so we wanted to see her win. It's also a strong contender in terms of being a musical, it's also a musical adaptation which always wins the Golden Globe. ALWAYS.

You put it perfectly "going through the motions" is exactly how I feel with these flops, they wasted Tom's talent and them not doing the iconic we are Venom properly (or at all) in any of the Venom movies was such a let down!

At first I was a little surprised by The Invisible Man being #1 on the list, but if we're judging purely by character and performance, it makes sense. Claude Rains knocks it out of the park - relying almost entirely on his voice for his performance and carrying the whole film pretty much by himself. Most of the other monsters on this list have at least a couple supporting characters that help them make their films more interesting- Frankenstein's monster has Dr. Frankenstein and Fritz the hunchback (Dwight Frye) as memorable support, Dracula not only has Dr. Van Helsing but the scene stealing Renfield (Dwight Frye again!) who (controversial opinion time) I actually think may be the most interesting character in the movie, Wolf Man has his father (Claude Rains again!) and Maleva the fortune teller, the Bride isn't really the star of the movie named after her...but The Invisible Man really does completely and totally own his movie.

This video really reminded me that the invisible man is in the universal horror cannon, i should definitely check some of his movies out!

It’s one of those movies where there is a sliver of ideas that COULD have been gold, but with the rampant ideas that go no where to unnecessary scenes and themes(like why is the main character chasing young teens🤮 ) it makes it into a terrible watching experience.

If you are familiar with the cartoon show Beetle Juice this movie will make more sense to you and your more likely to spot all the references.
