8thGen Honda Civic eBay foglight how to
Nice video. You showed absolutely nothing. Its people like you who should get smacked
Yo compré esa mierda y no cuadran los neblineros
So u have 2 different option to connect the fog light or u have to use both wires?
I just did it exactly how you explained the only thing is the green wire I’m going to add to fuse#37 and white wire to positive on battery. Would that also work?
Thanks for the video really helpful when you explained about the two wire connectors on the washer fluid thing and under the steering wheel
hey man great video thanks a millon.
Did you keep ac?
What is the model of that set? I want that switch bcuz my car has a switch occupied for vsa. Ur switch has options for other assesories.
La verdad q no hiciste nada mierda
So can I run the power wire and the signal wire to the battery? I know that the fog lights will be on if I forget to turn them off but that might seem easier
not sure why people thumbed this down, it is a free instructional video I made for 8thcivic.com and it has helped many many folks make sense of the crap harness. cheers
You're the only one who understands your instruction! MMRN!
Because the white wire with the fuse goes to the battery you got things confused
Because it's a DIY how to video but you didn't actually do anything
The wiring is usually the hardest part of the install. I say, A+. The main reason I clicked this video, was to look at the wiring process. A break down of how it's going to be done is perfect too. I did my 07 Si, 7 years ago. This was a memory jogger. I bought a factory fog light kit from CollegeHills Honda. This is almost an identical harness. They have me a switch on the turn signal, but still 98% the same harness. Now I'm doing my 07 Civic Sedan. I appreciate this video. Thank You
Dudeee that is the SICKEST sound wow
I have the exact same kit for my 2010 civic. hope it works this weekend
Rosemo 300 what is the kit name?
Wow that is a eBay kit of fog lights ... Look at those cheap cables...
+Qezt Nest so don.T buy or use them and stick to OEM. This is an instructional video for those who choose to spend $30 instead of $300 on a pair of foglights.
What model is your Honda Civic? Lx?
If mine came with instructions I'd be happy and be done...
Shalashaska016 yup
I disagree although i like8th gen more but i end up buying a 9th gen, because i wanted A new car and got that car 21,500 out the door with tax included in califronia. i raced an stock 8th gen with my stock 9th,my car was only ahead by a fender. And yes i even switch driver were my friend drove my car and i drove his same result. of the line 9th gen would beat it by almost a car, accounting the 9th gen have way more torque in terms of freeway run, there both about the same. 6 month later i got instake catless headers and exhuast w/ tune. raced the another buddies 8th gen with the exact same setup (intake header exhaust / tune by the same company) and be it by a car length, and again we switch drivers as well. My ending result was 215.06whp with 180.04ft lb of torque and his was 208 with 151 ft lb. but still love the looks of the 8th gen and high revs. but if you want more torque you gotta sacrifice the high revs. both great cars. but please i just hate when ppltalk smack about 9th gen complaining 8th gen have higher rev and 9th gen dont, but after all it does have 170 ft lb stock and if its revs up to 8k the motor wont last.
Utamadre
u mean the white to battery not the green one rite?
How did you install them?
Just a guess, it isn't tuned. Hitting the limited pretty hard, so I imagine with a tune, it'd be set a bit higher? Sounds like it's good for power to 8500 or so... nice setup dude
THE 2012 SI NEEDS A NEW MOD CALLED A NEW DRIVER!!
Il race you in my 2012 maxima and il dust that civic i beat them all the time
holy cow.. it is like you are powershifting but not on purpose...
did they replace them?
the 92-95 civic HB is a EH not EG. If you live in canada and the USA its EH. I owned a 94civic si HB THE vin SAYS EH. Most people dont know what their talking about. The 6-00 HB is EJ. Dont beleave me go look at the VIN of the cars. Just like the 8th gen is fg2 and fa5 for SI. CTR IS FD AND 9TH GEN CIVIC SEDAN IS FB. People need to get it right. Calling the USA model 92-95 civic HB a EG is freaken retarded. In that case then the fa5 is a fd
it says "8thGen Honda Civic eBay foglight how to" but how to what ur not installing anything. where is the video on how to install this kit???
how much did you pay for them???
this video is like a bootleg movie where you can"t see shit.
Nice run. Look at my Si
Nice
I like when 9ths try to hang with my built 8th lol I beat them by bus legnths
I got this part on amazon, they are not original parts and they did not come with instructions, where can I find a website that will have those instructions?
any video for the installation of this fog light kit?
To be honest. 9th has more torque and little more hp and little lighter weight. 9th has no high rpm (no fun, no " Honda Spirit " I think that's why the 8th's fans hate 9th so much ) but definitely faster than 8th in stock condition.
HOLY shit!
Longevity and Reliability wise OEM will always conquer. From problems such as condensation under the lens, rattling, or dulling of the lens overtime this all will fall under aftermarket parts. That is why Honda's OEM parts will always be better because they use genuine Japanese material and its designed to fit perfect and last for as long as the life of the vehicle.
8th's FTW! My R18 8th will keep up to 2012 SI's LOL
Quarter mile wise, they're the same. In the long run, the 8th should win. I've raced k24's in 00 civics with my 00 Civic making the same power as my k20a2. And they could only get like a fender on me for a short period of time. Then after like 100 MPH, I start pulling. My longer revs kept me pulling ahead. I also have a higher top speed, due to my higher revs. Same as 8th vs 9th gen races. The same thing happens.Good luck with an aftermarket header. The 9th is integrated with the block.
I laugh how syndrome666 is talking all this ishhh when I personally have raced 2 9th gens and ive been beaten them pretty badly such a corny car too..ya all the gizmos and gadgets are there , but performance wise it's a slouch I can get them the jump of the line and still wax that ass by 3rd !! And I wish you would say you wanna race I'm at over 300whp now turbo could careless about tq lol
you can put a header on the 12 Si, its just a single pipe. they still have catalytic converters. and if you do ever decide on a turbo, a 8th gen would e better. more options as name brands, makes more power and easier to tune
Why WOT shift so early? Move the seat closer to the steering wheel you cholo.
Why u keep redlining? Learn to shift at 7k or watching the vtec indicator.
This Guy shifts like shit , 9th gen is quicker stock
k24
8th gen Si is the best.
That was me on the left...
'12 Si is quicker than 06-11 Si stock. Obviously headers can't be swapped on the 9th gen, but that's not a deal breaker to me. If I really wanted to tune my '12 Si, I'd go with a turbo and cold air intake kit, more power gains there than the whole header/exhaust kit will ever give you. But I'm no tuner and probably wont ever tune my car, so none of this will ever be relevant to me. There'll always be someone faster. In the end none of this will matter, so long as you enjoy your ride.
lol @ youtubers...I can vouch for vee2sleezy owning an si...or at least at the time of the recording.
