Went on Holland America to Caribbean and we enjoyed it. Going to Alaska on Coral Princess in June 2025.

Hey Corey and Laurie! Sorry I couldn't chime in earlier. We've only been to Nassau once. We done a very rushed bus tour. Never been to any of the other places on your itinerary. We leave Port Everglades November 15th on Grandeur OTS so if we pass be sure to wave 👋😊. Happy Birthday Laurie! My birthday is November 5th BUT this is my wifes birthday cruise. We were supposed to go in February but she liked this one better. Enjoy your cruise!

You were about 40 years late for the best french dip I've ever had, at a place in Anchorage called Chef's Inn. My parents took me there once when I was home in Anchorage from college, and it was amazing. Fun to see Anchorage in your video.

We did not get to spend any time at the ports on our cruise last year to Alaska.

Was just there a couple weeks ago. The room was fine however would have been nice to have mugs instead of paper cups, spoons and real creamer for our coffee and tea in the morning. We made do but after getting off of a cruise ship where everything is done for you and incredible service it was an adjustment! We were in building O downstairs. It does take a minute to get oriented to the area....

We did an Alaska sea and land on Princess the last two weeks in July. We stayed at three Princess resorts and a Princess hotel in Fairbanks and loved them all. I would highly recommend it.

We also stayed at the West mark hotels too. But on our cruise tour, we also stayed at other properties they owned in Fairbanks and in Beaver Creek. Also in Anchorage too.

I was just going to add that. Pressure treated wood is what we call it. Very common. And that cottonwood is actually a willow. Thanks for the tour!

just an fyi on the wood marks question....that's called incised wood. The marks are made so that the wood will soak up more preservatives. Apparently, wood on the East coast will soak it up better than the wood in some other areas so we don't see it as much. Enjoyed the video as usual!
