Minako can't put enough enthusiasm and flair into the excited lines, and puts too many negative emotion into the negative lines...

i love how minako tries to copy every little thing her friend does. idk why gyaruko looks so terrified already when she asks if theyre friends for the last time tho . and also how minako is staring herself as if watching her expressions in the mirror as she does her make up, while gyaruko seems to do this less. sometimes minako seems annoyed or disgusted imitating gyaruko, idk what thats supposed to mean, but minako lacks emotion while speaking besides the minor irritation, its more clear in her eyes and tone. and as she copies gyaruko, its clear shes trying to make herself look like 'the better version'. i like the detail in this short video.

A nice detail more noticeable on the original video, Minako is left handed while Gyaruko is right handed. Minako tries to apply gloss with her right hand but is clearly having some difficulties

some of when minako talks sounds like it's almost exactly like gyaruko except her words are different, it really shows that she can't replace her

The last one is reversed, gyaruko is the robot sounding one ,and minako is the human sounding one ,which means she successfully replaced her (whether she replaced her by herself, or she replaced gyaru with an AI)

I kind of love more subtle differences in wording between the two, and going off of that one theory that was that minako was doing her whole routine after killing gyaruko, it makes it seem like despite minako's frankly absurdly good memory, there were certain quirks to gyaruko's speech that minako genuinely couldn't catch onto. in particular, the difference between the heavily stylized gyaruko "いいんじゃぁ〜！一度ぐらいは。(iinjaa~! ichido gurai wa.)" and minako's much flatter "いいんじゃ。一回くらいは。(iinja. ikkai kurai wa.)" where minako's delivery and diction sounds much simpler and more 'correct' than conversational. gyaruko's speech is more inherently characteristic and therefore lost in transliteration when minako's trying to remember and copy it all.

i like the detail that for most of them, minako is looking at herself while gyaruko is hardly looking at her reflection

I also just noticed the eyes!!! after a full year, gyaruko's eye highlights move around a little in one of them, They also glow. However minako's are completely still and don't glow at all, im aware she canonically wears contacts and thats the reason but man. its weird how it took that long for me to notice that.

you can see that gyaruko has a WAY less complex makeup routine compared to minako, who adds a lot more makeup and cosmetics. minako may have an obsession with gyaruko because she's naturally pretty.

During Gyarukos last words in the video she seems almost pleading, as if she’s trying to calm minako down or plead with her to not harm her, if it’s true the way minako replicates it so calmly makes it more terrifying

I don't think minako is just trying to copy her, I think she's trying to outright *replace* her...considering the glitched text of her essentially dumping her--probably only became her friend so she could get close enough to her to get in a relationship with her. She might have stolen and turned Garuko's friends and things till she had nothing left.

I think the most obvious difference between them is with the "that's gross" line. While Gyaruko sounds extremely cute and just mildly annoyed, Minako sounds...extremely disgusted. To make more sense: Gyaruko sounds "disgusted" at an object/food etc, while Minako sounds genuinely disgusted by a person (this is also accentuated by her eye twitch).

I wanted to write a small theory that I have, but it got too long. Sorry for that. I think that they both were repeating these words in front of the mirror, probably, in order to fit in to the "fashion girl(?)" role. Gyaruko was just better at acting than Minako which could also be her motivation to kill her. Especially, if she was trying to fit this role longer than Gyaruko who was in motorbikers band before. Or Gyaruko was just trying to live a new life in a style which Minako have already picked for herself. As we saw in other girls' case, their styles were ± similar in both opening and videos, while Gyurako's is unexpectedly so different. She could have had trauma because of either her friends' betrayal or the lifestyle itself. So she wanted to change and decided to be like Minako, who saved her. She wanted to save people like her (in her video at the start she saved someone from bullies). Minako felt threat of being replaced in their friend group, so she decided to destroy it. Maybe something went out of control which led to other girls' death. I also think that Gyurako could suspect that Minako's attitude to her is changing (her face, when she says: "Are we still friends?". She is probably afraid to be abandoned again) P.s.: I apologize for my poor english, too long text and misspellings.
