I just realized.....that person reminded me a LOT (in appearance) of Richard Ramirez...
That wasnt scary its a typical saturday night
Why?
Watch this and had some thoughts. It's GREAT when filmmakers pay attention to sound design. You built the tension very well with the acting, but the score coupled with the right foley throughout the film was really well done. And you did something I rarely see in films (especially indie), the camera that was running with the actress hid with her. You didn't cut to a different shot of her hiding. Very cool. And the ending made me jump lol Anyway, we have a film festival called the Always Late TV Movie Awards. I'd appreciate it if you considered submitting. Everyone who submits gets feedback after the festival concludes. Our event is March 22 & 23, 2025 @ Lewis & Clark Community College in Godfrey, IL. It's a two day event with screenings; a red carpet; and an awards show with actual trophies (not certificates). You can watch this year's awards show on our RUclips channel to get a feel for what we do. If you decide to submit, you can do so at our website @ alwayslatetv dot com. Either way, thanks! Love your work!
not good
Excelente👍🏼
Loved it
Creepy
nice movie! ❤
Oh yeaaaaahhh.
Oh hell no, when he starts speeding up...
Wow, reminded me of some Swedish horror movies' atmosphere. You've got a new subscriber❤
What a intriguing story. But one thing i had a issue with was the chase scene, it was too zoomed in and a bit too shaky, but the lighting that you chose for this Short Horror film was really good. This is not a bad start but these are my only critics about it. I hope this helps for the future, you have a great career ahead man, Keep it up!
Thanks! That was a stylistic choice but also still building my style so I appreciate the advice.

Quite creepy but no real story or script just walking about in the dark 🥱
I didn't find this short story of any value. Needed more work.
I felt the same way.
I liked this, the cinematography was well-used. I also love how you let us SEE the Baddie, for more than 2 seconds! You also made it clear it was a supernatural being. Good work.
Thank you so much!
Brilliant film! 🌟👏 So captivating and inspiring! 🎥 How did you approach the editing process for the film?
Thank you! My friend did the brunt of it (in DaVinci), but would work with me on it and show me what he did so I could alter it so it really fit my vision! It was so much fun.
@@sidney.foster Would you be open to participating in a podcast to discuss your experience making this film?
Was this a first time or attempt at a horror short? Not bad.
Yes, thank you! With lots of help of course.
@@sidney.foster Awesome. I'm trying to put together my next project myself.
This makes no sense
Its a basic horror, two women follow a strange man in their dorm......only to find out he is not a man..not a human one, anyway.
I think they got creeped out and wanted to either investigate or clear their minds or were just running/avoiding the situation but sh!t went down either way.
The best short horror movie ever made 🤣🤣🤣
Huge honor hahaha thank you
Good and scary
Excellent use of lighting (super creepy!), and I really love the shots you chose.
Thank you so much!!
No close caption 😱
Wow! So nice!!!
Oooh! As a filmmaker, I love the lighting, everything looks dark, creepy, and mysterious! Thanks for the video! Dropping you a like!!
Thank you!! That really means a lot :)
@@sidney.foster I always appreciate good lighting in horror. :) I actually talk about it in one of my own videos. A lot of my content centers on filmmaking tips, film analysis, etc.
So two women think they see someone/thing inside their dorm but then decide to try and follow it outside?
I thought that was odd too, but I think it was a curiosity-killed-the-cat type situation. I've seen it in real life, people see disturbing people right near their home & want to get a look at them...at least from a distance....to see where they go or what they look like, in case they return. In this case, unfortunately, they found out their 'disturbing person' was supernatural.
Not to mention the woman doesn't even run out or yell to help her friend! Wow. But she gets a karmic surprise a few seconds later.....
Not sensible.
Yeah it makes no sense
I think they were trying to be anywhere but in their dwellings.
Bro is responsible for my nightmare 😂😂😂
THIS IS SO GOOOD SYD
THANK YOU ANIKA
I didn't get it
I think it was showing us that the killer was supernatural, not human. Because there is no way he could be chasing her friend & then appear right next to her in a few seconds.
Spooky scary love love
who else hiding in the comments rn
Yes 😅
Just too scary i get it
👏👏👏
Quite Kiyoshi Kurosawa coded hmmm...
Hmmmm... must be a coincidence
What’s does that mean
@@jasonnilson8108 Haha just that this was very inspired by Kiyoshi Kurosawa's work
I went to high school with Sidney at university of Toronto metropolitan university
I went to 3rd grade there
My favourite high school!!
