So...do you eat a fertilized yolk - or toss it? I'm two generations removed from farming, so I just do not know!
We eat them. Nothing wrong with them or changes them. The fertilization stops when you put it in the fridge but if you have a really warm house sometimes you can have it progress. That could be a shock to crack open a egg 😬

WOW, egg prices in your area are low !!! Around here at the store eggs are $4.00 - $9.50 a dozen. If you buy them farm fresh you can get up to $15.00 a dozen. Throw a heppa filter on your shop vac and set the hose in the fire box when whipping, you won’t have to worry about dusting out your house.
I wait till the pipe is cold and tap it with a rubber hammer. It comes off in the heater then shovel it out. Only works with vertical pipe like you got
Ok i have to ask but what is going on with the left side draft control on the door? Thats the exact stove i will be looking for when we build our house. My last stove was a catalytic epa piece of junk and never again will i have one, its really windy here and they dont want you to put a damper in the flue with those catalysts, so you couldnt control it at all. It was usually roaring so bad you couldnt stand the heat in the house even with the damper completely closed but would still cresote up the chimney so im going back old school just like the one you have.
We will have a video out tomorrow about it! Our last stove was a epa piece of junk as well. We will tell you all what happened with it 👀😬

I don't see one but do you have one of those fans that sit on the top of the stove? They make a big difference moving the hot air...
yep its sitting right in front of our stove pipe. it kind of blends in. we are going to get a second one here soon to help push into the addition when we open it up.

It is a condar stove temp. Its a automatic draft control. Its amazing!

We had to hunt it down on ebay. It’s definitely worth it if you can find one! We hope to buy a second one soon so when we find another fisher stove we can have it on there to.

currently we are heating 800 sq ft but will be adding another 750 sqft when we open up the wall of our addition.

You have a great stash of seeds. I have grown jalapeños, but other than that I haven't intentionally grown hot peppers. Last year I received the Datil hot pepper from Baker Creek as a free seed so of course I had to try it. It was slow growing all summer but I finally had one when they turned orange and wow was it hot! It might be a good one for you to try. Happy growing!
