I like how you incorporated the GoPro, it seem like it would be a great way to compare the film image to what the GoPro captures, a good way to adjust camera settings for true colors.

Great video! It’s interesting your take on shooting Gold on a cloudy day. I’ve only shot Gold once so I’ll have to experiment and compare results on a sunny day vs a cloudy day. Looking forward to more of your videos!

That’s not the only day the conservatory was closed. It’s been closed to the public for around 18 months, undergoing several million dollars in renovations. It was scheduled to reopen in Aug, but is behind schedule & will be closed through 2024

If the new Pentax half-frame film camera becomes a hit, and other Japanese camera makers (like Nikon) take notice, and release their own modern film camera, too (stay with me ...) then maybe, MAYBE, Fuji will turn the film ship around and start producing 400H again. It's a long (long) shot, but I am holding out a small sliver of hope.

Sorry to hear that the absence of a light meter ruined your experience. I would highly recommend that you familiarize yourself with the sunny 16 rule. Once it’s firmly in your mind you’ll be able to choose correct exposure just by looking at your scenes and choosing your settings. As a general rule, over exposing any negative film (slide film not so much) by a stop or two will give you very good results. When in doubt, add a stop. I’ve been shooting film since the mid 1960s, so there’s that.. 😏.

It would be informative to know what shutter speeds and f stops you used other wise who cares
