You are a person, who loves movies and there fore a serious movie goer. Make no apology for that. I personally prefer to watch movies in theaters with small audience. Thats just me. For me the scariest movies are the ones that disturb me, like The Lighthouse, sinister, Midsomer. I watched, at Evan's reccomendation and couldn't sleep. It just made me feel so unconfortable. Felt like i was under water. Will never watch it again. Evan's love for horror is infectious and his reviews are as insightful as Pauline Kael's, who use to do reviews for The New Yorker. Like her, his reviews are literature. Enjoyed your podcast, Dude.

I liked hearing the experiences Tom has dealt with and how he’s overcome those hardships. Great episode for those who struggle with intrusive thoughts/obsessive patterns. I recommend the book he mentioned, The Four Agreements. It does help with internal thoughts and how we guide ourselves interacting with others.

Its simply having a positive male or sometimes female role model.

If I could say one thing is that while we all have different experiences in life, we all have more in common than we realize. I haven't connected with every single topic you've discussed over your many episodes, but I feel like I really connected with this one. I'm proud of you both for what struggles you've overcome and the choices you've made. Fantastic episode as always brother!

I was in Vegas on march15-16th when they first did the shutdown. You could walk around casinos that were completely empty and silent in the middle of the day. It was a very odd feeling
