Would this work as a wedding photography lens?

Thank you for reviewing this lens! I found it both interesting and helpful to learn about all its details, especially since I'm new to this topic. I recently picked up a Canon M50 for a great price and want to get a better understanding of this gear. I realize it's an older camera and that lenses for this mount are no longer being produced, but hey, everyone has to start somewhere, right? :)

Appreciate your review! I'm a Nikon guy and have their vintage version of this lens that I bought used for only $20, and for the price I am very happy with the image quality on my full-frame Nikon, although it is not the macro version that is also available. Thanks again for sharing

Thanks much, it worked for me. My D7000 was not auto focusing but this solved the priblem.

The 2 button reset does not work for my D800. Tried it because for no reason today, half way through a focus stack shoot the commander pop up flash stopped triggering my R1 unit. It wont trigger off camera SB600, SB800 or SB900 either which also always worked. So something is up with the RF signal

This is NOT a full factory reset of the Nikon camera. A full factory reset is done as follows: MENU button > Setup Menu > Reset All Settings (Instruction on page 274). Thank You.

Not sure how I had forgotten about the factory reset.. Took the lens off, cleaned the very clean contacts.. removed the perfectly fine battery and replaced it with another perfectly fine battery... Removed the perfectly compatible sd card and bla bla bla... Nothing..... Factory reset... Perfect...!😂 No more Err code... D7500 Guessing the camera may have got hot, it's a 37°C day.. Thanks buddy...!

Having used it on both Crop sensor and Full Frame cameras (Nikon D300s & Nikon D3) i can certainly say it performs better on the full frame sensor because it is an FX lens not a DX lens. Specifically designed for Full-Frame cameras

Thanks for sharing the review/demonstration. One possible correction for viewers: you mentioned the grip was made of plastic, but I believe that genuine Nikon battery grips are made with lightweight magnesium alloy.
