Coffeyville, Kansas Flood
This is a video of the Coffeyville, Kansas flooding that occured the night of June 30, 2007 and into the morning hours of July 1, 2007. For those of you who live in this area and who have heard the song "Born Survivor" on KUSN-FM, I have given them rights to use my video with that song courtesy of Dave aka Bluesplugger. The CD will be sold to help raise money for the flooding victims.

Well there goes my theory of the Treasure near The Onion Creek. Even if it did ever exist it would be long gone by now because of the Flood Waters.

It flooded because of rain but mainly because the levey broke in vertagris river, the army cleaned up the town and rebuild the levey, promised it will never break again

You're an idiot. They did not purposely "open" the valves... if they would have they would have lost 42 MILLION gallons of oil... It's a blessing they lost so little...

Hmmm, you’re ignorant! One man died in that flood and that’s because he was drunk and would not leave his motel room. If you need to write a comment about something like a flood, be sure you know your facts. If you feel the need to curse at someone about something you know nothing, please leave God out of your diatribes. “Do not used the Lord’s name in vain.” Grow up!

it was... like the next two days after the water went down the grass was blackish... It was bad... We were stranded. There was no way to get in or out of town in less you could fly out some how... We tryed every side. @ one point you could get out to Southh Coffeyville but then like 2 hours later the road was flooded

I rememebr me and my dad giving out water, to the people who didn't have a home. Some people had, dog, maybe even 4 large dogs in their car, blankets, pillows, pictures, any thing that they could grab and load up. So people had small kids in there car. Some people didn't even have a car they would come on a bike. It broke my heart. I might be young but I understand!
