I haven't played persona 3 reload yet (cuz i got nothing to play it on yet) but i definitely thought they would just reuse persona 5's version, which i mean its very similar, but a liiiitle different.

i be trying to get all the personas to fuse thatanos and the phrase "This one is beneath you" is ingrained in my brain.
One night me and my friend got into a debate over if Itawadori Dorm ~Reload~ sounded significantly different to the original, with him insisting the trumpet part sounded nothing like the OG while I didn't hear any difference. Eventually I did notice that there was a slight difference, and we moved on. 5 minutes later, we got into the exact same debate over this song with me insisting the piano sounded completely different.

I think persona 3 reload, outside of being a remake of persona 3, is a test for what persona could be in the future. Them changing Aria of the soul a bit is a small embodiment of this
