He sounds just like him, he just can't hit a lot of the higher notes. Even some that aren't that high. He sounds like Chris when Chris has already been singing for 3 hours and has to take it easy on his voice so he doesn't lose it for the tour. Crazy thing is, when he starts singing "black hole sun" he gets up there a little bit. Hes not bad, ita just kinda odd
Imagine trying to sing exactly like Chris Cornell, one of the greatest singers of our time, for an hour and a half. In his prime, Chris could hit all of the notes live. Unfortunately, even he had trouble as he aged. But we love him just the same and we do our best to pay tribute to him.
Chris didn't sound like Chris all the time either but still made great music, just like CCE! I'm still so impressed by these guys!

i've tried covering soundgarden when i played in a band decades back. it is NOT easy after a couple of minutes. i could never hold my vocals after the 3rd song. it just goes to hell. am too old to try it nowadays fearing i'd burst an artery.. lol
