There's another method called "gravity method", which doesn't require a syringe, just the end hose of the syringe and of course the reservoir attached to the brake lever, do you think that gravity method will work?

Great Instructional Video! I would only add - Try to avoid allowing the air bubble to get into your brake hydraulics because they can sometimes be difficult to remove and they will cause your brakes to feel "spongy".

the serra hub is definitely the weakest link on this bike. When mine got trashed I tried to just replace the freehub but it was jammed on there good! my 14mm couldn't get it to budge at all. I even hit it with my impact wrench (a milwaukee stubby 3/8 rated for 350ft lbs) and it couldn't get it off. I ended up upgrading it to a spank hex-drive and I love the high engagement. such a worthwhile upgrade. Although I'm not sure if I like the buzz, it has it's benefits but I think I'd prefer a silent hub like the Onyx.

I heard online that cardboard masks mold over time, I'm going to put some fabric on the inside to stop that I suggest you do that too but great mask :)

Actually, your guide is incorrect as it is missing 2 essential steps. 1. Before inserting the bleeding block, you would push pistons back into the body while the cup is already installed on a lever (system open on the top). 2. Your caliper will be with bubbles unless you push back at least 1/2 of the cup back with a lever main cylinder. You can seal the bottom screw only after that part. You can learn the correct process at the parktool or shimano manuals.

Hello, I set up per the video and did the half to 3/4 turn on the screw. Don’t know why, but when i tried this method, the fluid would not go up through the system. Almost like it was plugged. When I reversed the process (ie drain out into a plastic bag), there was flow. Any reason why there was no flow when using syringe at break? Tnx in advance!
