You have 3 openings on your headlights, I only have two, why?

I have bought 2019 golf gt 1.6 tdi really happy returning local driving avg 50 to 59.5 mpg depending how u drive...longer journerys not so economical which im suprised..next car gtd then gte

Do you know how to get the front grill off? Trying to install an STline badge and its proving difficult
On my mk4 the tabs at the end were easy to break off when removing the headlight had to bodge fixing them back
Easy job after watching video. You can get to both fog lights after removing headlight, a quarter of a turn and fog bulbs pop out. Bulbs are H1, H7, and H8 35w for fogs. Hope this helps.

Not worth it, i've replaced with the night breaker lasers for both high and low beam.

I'm having a hard time getting the main beam bulb out. I have moved the little 'locking-tap' downwards, but it's still stuck in there. Only me?
Did you remove the headlight or have you left it in the car? Might get better access if you take it out.
Like others said, I replaced the bulbs just fine without taking the whole unit off. If the wiper fluid hose is in the way, just take it off for a second and then you have access.
Due to Covid i haven't done many miles since installation, both are still alive. Ignore the Blue Boost, not worth it. Either stick with the Night Breaker Laser, still a yellow light or look at the Philips WhiteVison Ultra, they do them in the H1 and H7, these will be my next choice.

is there an option of swapping them without headlight removal?
From memory it would be possible, be a tight squeeze and you'd need small hands. It's really simple to remove and refit, just two screws i think.
@@milesfinch anyone thought of putting those expensive Phillips H7? I have LED shot beams and DRL but halogen H7
Changed mine yesterday without removing the headlight unit and I've got quiet large hands. Dipped and mainbeam.
@@shaunAndrew8 I got surprised by the factory and have COB LED on short beams, only long beams having bulb

Was stationed at Chicksands in the mid-1980s. was assigned to the 6950th as a 207x1 working on Dawg Flight.
Video was helpful changed them at the front thanks to your tutorial. Do you have a tutorial for the rear too? Want to install LED bulbs in the rear.
I was going to ask the same question. It would if you also gave us a tutorial to remove and replace the rear bulbs or unit

Devi stare molto attento quando inserisci le lampadine a LED in un alloggiamento leggero progettato per lampadine ALOGENE. Il motivo è che la diffusione della luce può essere molto diversa e cieca alla guida se la diffusione della luce è errata.
@@vlogginginthemiddleages8676 si infatti tengo regolazione bassa... pultroppo la luce alogene non han quella buona visibilita' delle led e quando c'e nebbia o piove poi... le nostre strade fan cagare! E non capisco il fare ancora fanali di serie alogeni ...
I used to go to Imber when I was younger, on a Sunday. This was in the 1960s, The village has totally changed now, nothing like it was. Shame.

You should try MTEC bulbs when it comes time to change they emit pure white light but the osram do look bright better than oem
3:28 its a 3 cylinder not a 4 cylinder...
I feel like he didn't do any kind of research before making the video tbh. Was quite a few things he missed out.
For example, saying the back bumper is painted despite it being the same colour on all the Shadow Edition and regular models, no matter what colour the car is.
