My screws that keep the pedal rod locked in got super tight and stripped so I can't even get the rod off, so I can't get the pedals off, so I can't open it. Probably needs some serious hammering or something that could possibly do damage to it. So I gave up for now, maybe it never needs to be opened but then the tire can't be changed.
