I’d like to think and wonder what would have happened if Blair made an exception and let Jenny go to the ball or if Jenny obeyed Blair and didn’t go at all, then the whole “Nate thinking he kissed and confessed his feelings to Serena misunderstanding” would’ve have happened. It would have been more interesting to see their friendship develop more and have Jenny and Blair become closer. I believe they would have gone into a fight later but it would have been a lot nicer to see more Jenny and Blair friendship in season 1. It’s a win-win situation if you think about it. Throughout the entire time when Jenny was serving Blair she stayed herself. Plus she wouldn’t have to pretend to be someone she is not as Blair already knew about her being from Brooklyn and accepted her anyways cause of her success of the sleepover. I think Blair actually liked Jenny more than her other minions as she was not rude to her until after the fight happened. Also when Blair and Jenny fought over queen bee status as some people found it funny and cool there is a bitterness to it as it was not long ago when Jenny looked up to Blair and they almost had a potential friendship between them.

You could definitely tell during the end of the video while she was talking to the camera guy that she faked her high pitched voice just to sound more younger on the show in season 1 (plus sometimes during her season 1 interviews)

wasn't kidding about music.. earlier days you can find a clip talking about not being an actor, sings on tv. I remember the mags ragging on her out in Hollywood promoting her mind, so she is some kind of non conformist & not everybody's cup of tea That show however all those actors in it, did better leaving it.

I can understand why people miss her when she was younger, but we have to deal with the fact that everyone changes. That's just life. She's a woman now, and I really love the rockstar Taylor. She's a badass and makes awesome music. I wasn't the same person 3-4 years ago, my style and attitude have both changed. I grew up girly as a child, then became a bit edgy and tomboyish later on, now I have a combination of both.

I felt bad for Jenny here. She was just trying to tell Blair the truth. It's not her fault. But what I found interesting the most is how much you can see how insecure Blair is. She was damn near about to lose her mind thinking Jenny wanted Nate. "You're jealous? You like him don't you? Just cause you've talked to him one time you think you have a shot with him?" You can just hear the insecurity in her voice, thinking someone else is after her boyfriend. She may be all high and mighty on the outside but the inside is vulnerable.
