Improving Hologram (x33.25) the fourth time | Non-endless WR | Balatro
My goal is getting as many record as possible in the non-endless random seed category
The record-sheet can be found on the Balatro Discord.
Like Khalid said: Another one. Hologram is my most improved Joker.
But even with this record i don't think it's not the end of the line.
The best setup i got for the Hologram can be found in my Blue Joker record (ruclips.net/video/Ce-GRRUAkmw/видео.html). Hopefully i can get a similar run in the future again to close the hunt forever.

You were mostly limited by deck size for a good amount of the run. Maybe it’s still worth it to have a worse early game but be able to play 3 more straights later in the run by playing on non abandoned deck
I also tried this run on other Decks. From my experience i had a problem with playing consecutive straights. Instead of 3 more straight i think it would be more like 1-2. Tbf this is the first run, in which i got this Joker combination and both hand size Vouchers. So i could be completely wrong.
Why did you bring the campfire up for the small and big blind if ante 8, surely it’s worth just saving the money to get an x100 campfire
@@qcom1008 The reroll cost would be to high if you only grow the Campfire before the boss. It's better to spread it all out evenly in all three shops to get the highest possible score.

Skipping a soul hurts.
Throughout all my runs i skipped multiple souls and it always hurts a little but it's mostly not nessesary to get it. i probably skipped around 30-40 souls at this point

Nice stuff I think you left around 10% in the tank but this run will be very hard to beat without perkeo. I had to laugh when I saw the brainstorm and immediately got flashbacks to the money engine that powered my run. I am really glad that you took the golden ticket and did not skip it twice.
Tbh at the beginning i'm was not pleased with the record because i didn't get any voucher to reset the ante. At first i didn't want to upload this run until i got a better one but even after a month of no improvements/runs (now 2) i'm also firmly convinced that it isn't that easy.

As i don't need scoring help trough plasma i have freedom to use any deck. I personally used Zodiac most of the time as it is easier for Deck manipulation and most non-endless runs need a quick specific looking deck to even have a chance. But i have a new, mabye better, idea for money-needing records (Flash, Constellation, etc.). Using the black deck and having the extra Joker-Slot could give more money. I will likely test/run this idea in the next couple of days.
I thought about the same stuff. But I also gave erratic a chance and would reset for a deck with many face cards. Those could then be turned golden with mask.
@@DrDreaM-O Honestly i never thought about the idea of using erratic but mabye it's not a bad idea. Only one thing that i'm worrying about is that it's harder/takes longer to get a run, where the deck has many face cards + early midas. But with more improvement it could become a requirement to get a better run.
Wtf. During the first two antes, I REALLY thought about whether not taking seed money in A1 was the right choice. I am able to make a really good case for both decisions. And you are that lucky that you get it in A3 again. And in general: I can’t remember ever seeing a first shop or a first few shops direct you so much into one direction for a specific record.
