We are a RYA (Royal Yachting Association) Recognised Training Centre. RYA Courses are conducted from our base at Beaulieu sur Mer, near Nice. These include courses for Powerboats, Motor Cruisers & Jet Skis. Own boat/on-board tuition can also be arranged from any of the ports along the Cote d’Azur and beyond.

Hi Phil, is there provision in RYA testing for people with colour blindness ? I actually know the theory of buoyage and lights but I have to rely on confirmation of colours by a third party.

Hi Cara. Sorry only just seen your comment. Hope the exam went well!
I'm in Cape Town, South Africa and am looking at obtaining a Coastal Skipper licence, of course first doing the Day Ticket etc. My question is, they offer a 12 Week Express course which includes theory and practical as well as exam prep ... Is 12 weeks enough time? The practical consists of a sail from Cape Town to Durban and return which is approximately 800 nautical miles in both directions.
