I bought a new desktop computer in 2024 and I finally have a decent enough machine to edit videos. 10 years of backlog travel clips coming up! I'm doing this to share my travels with my mom and my wife.
Holidaying in Taliban's Afghanistan (Travel Vlog)
In March 2024, I went to Taliban-controlled Afghanistan. For better or for worse, Afghanistan is relatively safer for tourists. I can't say the same for the locals. I acknowledge that there are some human rights issue there.
I visited the capital Kabul, did a food donation drive at Bamiyan, and did some backcountry skiing!
Thanks @TheCosmopolitanCanadian for sharing the skiing clips!

Honeymoon at the Gates of Hell (Part One)

I visited Turkmenistan and the Gates of Hell for my honeymoon! This is such an interesting country. The capital Ashgabat has all these weird white monuments and manicured sites despite having hardly any tourists. The Gates of Hell were of course awe-inspiring. We also rode an old soviet-era train and saw the caspian sea, and learned about the prized Turkmen horses.

It was a trip of a lifetime.

Beautiful place. If only the women in the country was able to enjoy the same happiness in their own country.
nice and beautiful video. Thanks for the nice things to show us. Love from around the world to my All Afghans. Long live Afghanistan.
When did you do this? Word is the mining company recently banned riding on the iron ore train.
@five-i1l yes it is officially "banned" now unless you have contacts. I did this in Nov 2023
What a wild trip, and nice shots! It was awesome traveling with you dude!
Haha thanks dude it was fun traveling together! See you on another trip soon.
Hello, nice video. Could you tell me the name of the travel agency you used in Mauretania?
@@kr28pol I did not use a travel agency. It's organised by a travel blogger: onestep4ward.com
❤❤❤
I have to congratulate you, my friend. This country has much news to watch. Enjoy your trip!
Thank you!
Great video! 😊 Love Peru as well!
Thank you!
I wish your video gets millions of views because you have great content. Try running ads for your channel using some kind of system.
@@vaniagoodman8617 thank you for your kind words!
Chile looks great ☺️
It's beautiful. Thanks for watching!
Wow, you spent a lot of time in buses my friend
Haha I did. I was trying to do an overland journey around the entire continent, but had to take flights towards the end. Thanks for watching!
❤
It was totally an epic trip indeed! You did so many good things. 4:10 It just looks like you didn't enjoy hanggliding as much as skydiving. Was doing skydiving before overwhelming and made hanggliding doesn't feel impressive?
To be honest, yes! I felt hanggliding was a little too long. It was fun the when it just started but after 5 min, you're like "can we end now" lol!
2:06 Curitiba is usually mentioned to be the safest state-capital city, among the other 26 state-capitals Brazil have. However, it's far from being the safest city in Brazil, and even "safest" doesn't mean much in Brazil since all big cities has violence and robbery, and sadly after 2014 it just got worse. I was born and raised in Brazil, and I don't feel safe traveling alone and I don't recommend it for solo travelers. If you want a similar and a safer experience, I recommend other countries in South America, as Argentina, Uruguay and Chile. Thanks for comming to Brazil anyway, apart from this incident it seems you did enjoy the country, I am glad for that.
Que exagero. Eu tenho 54 anos, morei no Brasil inteiro - 7 estados - e nunca nunca nunca nunca tive nenhum problema. Não alimente esse click bait da violência no Brasil. Ela existe da mesma maneira em muitos outros lugares mas só o Brasil alimenta e propagandeia isso com filmes que destroem a sua própria autoestima. A Argentina é segura? Vai lá pra ver. Os argentinos fogem pro Brasil por causa da violência.
Thanks for your comment! This was back in 2014, and I went back to Brazil in 2017 and 2018. I'm slowly posting my old videos now haha. I've been to all countries in South America and Curitiba was the only city I kinda got 'robbed' (it was my friend walking beside me).
Your living the life bro. Maybe you can do a video of what to do when getting robbed.
read your blog post about the border, thx for the info

socotra is not yemen it is a somali island and i am sure after this civil war yemen will get out of it inshallah
I don't want to comment about the political situation or who the land belongs to but, the fact hoping and saying inshallah that you'll get it back because of the deaths of over 100,000 innocent people is absolutely despicable. And you being Muslim because you said Inshallah means you don't care about your Muslim brothers or sisters your just fueled by some form of anger. If you haven't guessed it I'm from Yemen. As for my opinion, people from Socotra are just that. They still identify themselves as Yemeni's. These are the Islands native people who have been here for hundreds of years. And the only reasoning I've seen for it being Somalia's land, which I have no problem with, is based on it's close proximity to Somalia territory wise, and not the relation of the inhabitants. If you actually read threw it thank you for listening and wallah I honestly wish the best for Somalia. And will be asking my Somali friends about this.
Actually Somalia and ethuopia are Part of the Shepa kingdom so u are all from Yemen😎😎😎
@@walterkovacs5145 Well Said👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
@Saim S. the people who live there for hundreds of years call themselves yemenis idk what bitching about it is going to do

I wonder if they should plant trees on the parts of Socotra that don't have many trees.
Just a thought.
They don't cut down trees and they don't try to grow new trees because introducing anything foriegn to it could ruin some existing nature
I love Yemen
